      You have made a huge difference to me. Congratulations Byrdie.
      No matter how far you go or how fast you run, you can't get away from yourself. ....said at an AA meeting. It stuck with me.

                    you know five years almost seems impossible to me.
                    not that i think i will drink between now and then, i don't know why it seems ... well... impossible???

                    i guess 6 months seemed impossible too, thanks for sticking around here Brydie.

                      5 years since have passed along,
                      till you started singing the no drinking song,
                      at the time lots to lose,
                      just for the sake of the good old booze...

                      now thats a hard song at the best of time,
                      but even more so in the land of moonshine,
                      you grasped the nettle in your hand ,
                      and kicked Mr Booze out of your land..

                      but thats not the end of the five year story ,
                      you continually reap unwanted glory,
                      helping those struggling along,
                      wanting to sing the no drinking song

                      but along the road...a message from me,
                      your words I recall "get a strategy"
                      so with you as my mentor I moved on,
                      and now I sing the no drinking song

                      there are hundreds on here that think the same,
                      without your help would fail the no drinking game
                      but as my mentor now that didnt end...
                      and now you are my lifelong friend

                      all the very best.....see you soon!!!! xxxxxx
