No Lucy doesn't wear booties. She likes her sweaters, though. Mark doesn't like when I make her too fru-fru. There is a therapy dog at the hospital where I work. He's a little white Maltese named Tyler. He's soooo cute. He wears an ID badge just like mine.
I ate too much today, too. There was an employee recognition luncheon today, but so many CNAs called in sick today, my trainer and I covered a lot of their tasks, in order to make the place run smoothly. Unfortunately, a lot of the desserts were delivered to our break room, and I indulged. I am currently underweight (5, 8", 118 lbs.), but I usually eat "healthy" food, not desserts. Maybe it was meant to be, LOL. I am too active and don't take in enough calories in this position. I hope I'll find a happy medium at some point.

About my new friend...we met on a divorce forum. She had broken up with a gf some years ago. Of course, my divorce with STBX Mrs. Fen was new.
Anyway, new friend in IL was so supportive, a lesbian, has a horse farm and debilitated dawgs...we just started chatting, and before I knew it I received the very generous gift from her. Which was not creepy. I just called her, to see how she is. She just got a cold and sounds awful! She is fine with me taking her out when we meet up, but genuinely wanted me to have a nice Valentine's day out.
I can't go out on my own...that would be too weird. I will take my wives and their sisters out on Sunday morning, LOL.

Pauly, I will have to look at the hot chocolate trick, now! OMG, 74 degrees? That will not happen here until June or July!

Rusty, you're the best.
Thank you for all the hugs. I felt hugged.
I had a VERY bad pain/rage day. I thought my husband wasn't sending along my Cdn. Pension, b/c they told me they were. So I sent a nasty email and I sent one to my landlord. Shouldn't have done it.
Husband called and he isn't receiving the check. I apologized, but not to the landlord. I have a back up load of money that I need to get from Canada.
Landlord now has maintenance watching me re dog leash, burned that bridge.
Onward!Enlightened by MWO

Wow, it's going to take me weeks to properly say "thank you" to all of you for your sweet birthday wishes, PMs, Facebook posts, etc. I am truly blessed with the most amazing friends here on this thread. I am also very grateful for some other dear friends and lurkers who pop in from time to time, and who treat me like a pricey Lladro figurine: Red67, Mr. G :heartbeat:, Glassie (heretofore known as Classy Glassie), Samstone, Treetops, NoSugar, and JackieClaire....thank you for being in my corner.
I had a fabulous birthday! My dear friend, Jan (no, not mama ;-) ) and I shopped til we dropped and then had lunch. No, we didn't shop for tile and vanities, BUT, we were in this cool little shop I love and I bought VALENTINE'S DAY decorations! One of my dear friends swears on decorating for V-Day to get over the post-holiday blues. I think she is right.
SKendall-how are you doing? Is it the landlord or was the pain bad today? Please vent if you need to...we're here.
NE-wow, I read about your bender. That sounded BAD. I think you've mentioned before and maybe I missed it...that you are waiting a bit to have an AF day..is that right? Why not start tomorrow? Are you afraid of the withdrawals? I am not criticizing...just asking.
Fenny-oooohhhh I am dying to hear more details about this possible love interest! I'll send good thoughts your way. Geez, you sure do deserve some good luck!
Nora-did you find some shoes?
Liz-don't you hate when those drinking thoughts come out of nowhere? They used to drive me bananas! Good for you for not acting on those thoughts.
Pauly-Great job, too...you had the same thoughts today...must be something in the air.
Mama-you make me blush...."a prolific writer..." only when I'm not pissed off. Hahahaha!!
Red67-thank you for your sweet wishes. Good to see you!
You Hoo...Glassie!!!! Come back..
BOOBS-there, I said it, now Mr. G. get your buns over here!!!! Haahah
Time for bed, kids. Early day and long commute tomorrow so probably won't check in til lunch time. Love you guys!!!Last edited by Rusty; February 11, 2016, 09:58 PM.

Rusty - so glad that you had a good day.
I think Skwerly Nora Manor it will be.
I got my hair prettied up today. LOL I was able to take Mom in and get her hair cut too.
Sorry about all the drinking thoughts. It's weird how strong they come on sometimes.
Ne - I was never able to just make a deadline either. I'm like Fen, I just go sick of it. I hope I can remember that feeling of disgust. Hang in there - we are all here with you on this journey.
SK - I hope things get better for you.
Trying to get dinner ready so I don't have time to say everything that I wanted to. So, I'm posting this for now and I hope to be back."Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett
