I had a nice walk over to local Tesco today tru the walk. Was a lovely sunny fresh day but very cold and frosty now. Got a nice pair of black slipper half price which ineeded i only went over cos i was out of catfood.

Just finished cleaning up after a birthday party.. house was mental, just the cousins - all gone to scouts so its peaceful for a moment.

Satz, its a worry about your mam. Although my hubbys grandmother reached 97 on the diet of a sparrow..

Evening Mary rib area still a bit sore just small improvement i think. Busy day for you with a party bet ur glad its over. I forgot today was the start of lent till i saw a rare sight in Tesco today a young lady with blessed ashes lol. i don't see many these days with it on ash wednesday. I don't do lent as i'm a practicing catholic or of any religion but i am christian and believe in God.

When I worked in a bank many moons ago I asked once asked a customer did she know she had a sooty mark on her forehead......being brought up a protestant I knew nothing......yer honour.

Went to see Spotlight last night - a movie about the Catholic priests and the extent of abuse of kids in Boston. 80% of them grew up damaged & committed suicide and the Vatican covered it all up.
It is sickening - and that was just one city.

And what does the normally 'never go to mass' Mr Satz decide to do this morning - GOES TO MASS.
He says not all of them are bad - I said they are because they still get paid by the Church that covered up the truth worldwide and by you going you are showing your support of them too.
The 'good' priests report to the organisation that moved these creatures from place to place & covered for them. So many kids' lives ruined.

Jeez no wonder I stick with Frozen and Die Hard.........I know, I know that was a bit flippant but I've read quite a bit about institutionalised child abuse..........its sickening.

Thank all that is good in the world that these days the great majority of children and those adults who were abused as children are believed.

My friend was telling me about that movie, dont know if I could watch it. Very hard to stomach the whole Church reign even up to 20 years ago.
Still way too many disturbing stories in the news.

I was thinking of going to see that movie but i'm sure it will make me angry and a bit upset. there was so much of it world wide covered up. i saw a trailer of a film called being single a comedy set in New York. Its released this friday i think i might go and see that over the weekend. Last film i saw was room which was a great movie but a bit tense and heavy so i need a nice light hearted chick flick or comedy. any one of yo married ladies doing anything for Valentine's night?

Yuk had a horrible using dream last night. So vivid. I was given a whole load of pills and I convinced myself (again) that I could just take them and then stop when they ran out. I woke up in a tizzy. Have to be extra vigilant because I am tired and a few weeks clean that is when the stinking thinking can rear its ugly pox ridden septic head
