Hey folks. Easter Sunday here and I just went to a service at the Cathedral with the boys and G2's girlfriend, then back to my place for hot cross buns. It's funny how kids seem to like rituals, no matter how old they get.

I was interested to hear that states have their own liquor laws. Gee NE - if your liquor stores are run by the state then there's no hope! They must make a fortune. Ours are basically run by our two main supermarkets, but I think alcohol is pretty heavily taxed so I guess it's the same.

Good morning all! Happy Easter. Ham is cooking away in the oven andthe table is set. I'm as ready as I'll ever be, I suppose. Off to church in a bit. Had a lovely afternoon at my sister in laws yesterday. Her grandson is such a cute little guy! It was nice catching up with them.

I have been doing a lot of reading on here and thinking lately. This place is largely unmoderated, in many ways, LOL. I am seeing so much unkindness on this forum, even from members posting on our "Steppers" thread.

As many of you know, I have been experiencing a lot of change in the last year or so, much of which is coming to a head in the next two weeks in a very stressful way. I have been sober for quite a while, now, and I am at a place where I'm simply tired of some of the attacks and nonsense that go on here.

I am done with this place. Nora, I have your email addy...Pauly, Mama, I would like yours. Rusty and Red and Liz, yours too. Anyone else who hasn't been an instigator, please pm me with your email addys if you would like to keep in touch.

I wish you all the best and I sincerely hope that those of you who need discord here find some modicum of peace in your lives.

What is going on Fenny? I have not seen the posts you are referring to and I read everyday. Did I miss something? I have actually found the recent posts on this site have been very helpful and supportive. The army thread has had some great discussions over the past few weeks and I read back on this thread and I don't see anything offensive. Maybe something was misunderstood? I am very sorry that you are feeling this way;(

I love reading your posts and I specifically watch for your posts because you are such a strong woman. Please don't leave.

I love all of you here, you guys keep me grounded.

Fen, I am so sorry that you are leaving. I love reading your posts. I love your humor! I am sorry that you are so stressed. I wish I could ease it somehow for you.
I honestly can ignore the bad things I have read here. I find it very safe here on our steppers thread. I am not strong in my quit and I find strength comfort and understanding here.

We had a full house yesterday and by the time they left and I cleaned up I was shot! Now I have a sore throat! But it was a lovely family filled weekend. It's cool and rainy here today gonna put on a sweater and my rain boots and do this. Happy Monday guys!
