Liz so glad that you had a good time. We missed you!!!!
Sorry I haven't say down and posted today. Kept thinking that was the next thing I would do. Ha ha
I don't know how people can make long posts from their kindle. I make so many typos.

Happy Sunday guys!
Fen your day sounds wonderful. Your post sounds confident, you go girl! Luquillo is where they have the illuminating plankton. We did go there but during the day. Our resort was close to the rain forest and in the evenings we heard the coqui frogs. It was so nice! I must admit that I get sad/depressed after a vacation and I'm feeling it today. Having those stupid thoughts, if you know what I mean.
Went shopping with Erin for a bit yesterday and bought 2 sundresses, a shirt and a new pair of jeans! I did all the laundry! Finally gave Lucy a bath. I made the mistake of taking off her collar (we refer to it as her bath shield) and letting her out to do her business as I filled the sink in the laundry room. She was on to me and I had to chase her in the yard, she would not come in! Stinker!
Anyway off to church. Busy week ahead for me as I am having both sides of the family for Easter! My SIL and I don't always see eye to eye, but I extended an olive branch and she graciously excepted. And She invited us to her house on Saturday!

Liz, we stayed at Casa Flamboyant in El Yunque Nat. Forest. It was fantastic. I loved the coquis! They don't have a mating season there like frogs here do...they are out calling all night long, all year round. Our B and B guys told us to keep the lights low at night, or the frogs will camp out beneath your window and do their thing. The B and B supplied ear plugs for sensitive peeps.

Oh man...I forgot about Easter. I don't want to hang out with my cousins. I will have to find out if baby sis will take mom.
I know I sound like a bad daughter. I HATE hanging out with family. Mom's side has this fake combo of solicitousness/critical thing going on. The whole lot! It explains a lot about where my mom's passive/aggressive behavior came from.
My cousins make a rude comment about someone, but follow it up with something to soften the edge...such as "Oh, look...Linda couldn't wait to get out of the church to light up a cigarette, the poor dear!"
Makes me wonder what they're saying about me..."Oh, Fennel married that woman and now she's practically in the streets, the poor dear..."Last edited by fennel; March 20, 2016, 09:34 AM.

Quick check in, friends!
Liz-so glad you had a wonderful time! We missed you here!
Fenny-I so get how you don't want to hang out with your family. I love my siblings, but some of the relatives on my mom's side...NO THANKS! Thank God they don't live near here. I hope you can find a fun, alternative plan for Easter.
Ok, I hope everyone is reading this: if you think Fenny deserves a medal for going through multiple traumatic life events, but still has the time and the heart to comfort others, RAISE YOUR HAND! My hand is raised, and so is the other one, Fenny. I'll ask Ms. Nora if she can post a picture of a crowd waving their hands voraciously. Thank you for being such a sweet, kind, compassionate friend to all of us here. To answer your question about my mom...she had cataracts years ago and now she has a detached retina and can't see out of one eye, and she has severe glaucoma...the poor dear. WINK

Both hands raised here too! Fenny, you are going to have a fantastic new life. You have gone through so much in the past year and you keep going strong. I have said it before, you are an amazing woman and I truly admire you.
I am typing from my phone and it's hard to write long posts. I will try to find more time to get on my regular computer so I can keep up more often.
Liz, so happy you had a great vacation.
Mama, did you have date night last night? I saw your post about your previous work husband, is everything OK?
Pauly, how are you doing?
Hi Nora, I haven't had a chance to read back, just want to say hi!
Skendall, so sorry about the crap you are going thru. Are you going to be able to spend Easter with your family? I hope good things happen for you soon.
Rusty, so sorry to hear about your mom. My mom is 75 and I worry about her driving. Does your mom live close to you? My mom is 30 minutes away so I could not be of much help to her on a daily basis when she gets to the point she can't drive. How will your mom get around? Does she live by herself?
Hi Techie! You always manage to find time to go around and keep up with the members and be supportive. Thank you for that!
OK I am sorry if I missed anyone, busy weekend for me and meal prep for this week for the next couple hours.
Have a great Sunday!!AL free since March 17th 2011...loving this life. No drinking no matter what.

Red, please don't feel bad for me but I will do Easter alone. Can't wait to join my daughter and celebrate holidays as a family.
Mama, did you have a date night?
Pauly, you are doing really well.
Nora, I haven't seen pics of the wedding, did I miss them?
Rusty, what are you up to?
Happy Sunday to everyone else.
P.S. Husband seems to panic every time I mention divorce, he's hiding something and it's probably $$. I don't have $ for the lawyer I want, her nickname is "Pitbull", so will try to do a pro bono this week.Enlightened by MWO

NE!Great to see you!!!! So glad you posted...and good job on getting your resume done! That is quite an accomplishment!
I'm still drinking daily, and still hating it. I have, at most, a day or two a week completely booze-free.
Day 4 was always the toughest for me. I thought about drinking as soon as I got off work....what I did was get to the gym....pronto! It took my mind off AF and by the time I got done busting my butt...all I wanted to do was eat...and I did. I am in your corner ALL THE WAY.:heartbeat:Last edited by Rusty; March 20, 2016, 09:50 PM.
