Ne, I moved into a community with a doctor shortage and didn't have one for 11 months so I think I fell through the cracks and became part of the shuffle routine.

I completely agree with you on opiates Robert (son) told me if you take opiates without pain, it goes to addictive part of your brain. Or words to that effect. I am p.o.'d that I'm receiving this treatment. I live in this body that's hurting.

I value your opinion Ne, especially since it's fresh, it's a very accurate diagnosis. The ibuprofen doesn't help but I take it for anti-inflammatory ingredient. I didn't list everything including sciatica, but you get the drift. I try not to post re my pain b/c it's extensive and I run the risk of being a whiner. I am very much a "Stay Calm and carry on" and I was raised by an English father who didn't allow complaining but I have complained on this site.

It's warming up here (65) and the flies are awful so I bought one of those magnetic bug screens I can't install it b/c it requires bending down, lol.

And here is the other side. One of my neighbors asked me Wed. how I was getting to doc and I told her by taxi. She told me not to as I've been very kind to her family. So she took me and then dropped me off at the grocery store and knowing she hadn't prepared dinner, bought her a roasted chicken and potato salad. On the way home she asked me for some of my meds, I explained I only had a week's supply so she asked me for $20 so she could buy Percocet from a lady who is selling her husband's RX. I know nothing of this world. I was very disappointed. BTW her pain would have responded to Advil or Aleve easily because she had muscle aches.

Completely off topic - has anyone tried the Magnum Ice Cream bars? I am eating one a day now.

Anybody know if Amazon has a way track your browsing history? I do use the site a lot and depend on their reviews before I purchase. Today after I was on MWO I checked something and the buying suggestion was Mitidone, an herbal remedy for alcohol withdrawal plus a 5 day detox. I checked the ingredients and they were herbs and supplements that we are all familiar with and so much more.

The reviews were 5 stars and a problem drinker said he quit alcohol because of this. It's pricey - regular $115 on sale for $65. I tried starting a thread about it, but it's been so long I couldn't remember how to start one. I want to put it out there for anyone needing it.

I've been on computer and posting copiously all day except for Peggy's walk and chatting with neighbors, I will now turn off.

AG - I have been wanting to write to you and I'm sorry that this is so late. :hug: How are things going with hubby gone? I know what you mean about being alone. Nobody monitoring you. Good luck with the teenage driving years. :egad:
