We got such a laugh out of Melina when she first started to answer questions. That comes a few months after they start saying words. Anyway, she'd hide behind the curtain in the living room and I'd say - I wonder where Melina is? Is she in the bedroom or on the balcony? And you'd hear this little voice from behind the curtain answer "no!". She was too young to realize she wasn't supposed to answer, just stay there til I found her. Made us laugh every time...

Am off to bed, it's been a long day. Wishing you all sweet dreams when it's bedtime in your corner of the world.

Hope you all have a great weekend!!!

      Ahh bless her.
Nighty night, Stirly, love. Not too much ice-cream for either of you this weekend.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

          Good morning ladies.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

It's a bootiful mild spring morning here.
Breaking the ice by meeting 2 friends from work for a walk & coffee.

Apparently I've been missed - not work wise I'm sure but just 'cos they can be a very serious lot and I'd entertain them - we'll see
I too have realized that I missed the regime of work and my lazy tenancies came out & I'd sit for hours on the laptop or watching tv or reading and SHOPPING - not good. We all need human interaction / stimulation I think or we grow old.
I've been off 3 months & now a scramble to get teeth & hair sorted next week :egad:

I am a bit Starts - I hate to admit it - but I'm so long there it's a part of me now -ya know
I missed a trip to Malaysia and US - but feck it.
I'm going back with a different attitude of doing a good job and not looking at others moving upwards -knowing what that brings with it.
Giving up your life to the company 24/7.................. that's fine if that's their career path.

Totally agree Satz, for me, although I have had promotion, my life outside work comes first with my happiness. Its a tight balance but one that I must keep.

When you go back, set your boundaries, make sure that your boss knows them and everyone else can mind their own. Take the good bits from the company and leave the politics and stress to those that give a shit

Good for her. I'm thinking of making my settee a nation, claiming sovereignty and never leaving it. I shall let people visit on the proviso they bring 1) Chocolate 2) Flowers 3) the channel changer.
