Would you read a blog about being in rehab?
Hi all, when I was looking for information on rehab places, I was trying to find out what the actual experience was like and I found very little online. I kept a journal while I was there and thought that maybe I'd query a few magazine editors about the topic once I went home (I used to freelance for several magazines.) But now I'm thinking that writing a blog might be better. What do y'all think? Is that something anyone would be interested in reading? Of course, I'd write about more than just rehab, but it could be a starting point. Thanks for your comments and opinions.Tags: None

Would be good to read.
On a historic note the novelist John Berryman wrote about his experiences in rehab in "Recovery" and John Cheever also wrote about a prison detox unit (was it 'Falconer'?). Not quite the same but interesting for comparison and introspection.

H4B-great to see you here!:happy2: Mollyka on the Army Thread is a rehab "graduate" as is Porquoi on the Daily Abs Thread and Neva/Eva on The Meds Forum. I bet they would love to hear your thoughts. I know it was a positive experience for Molly and Porquoi, and Neva has mixed reviews on her experiences, but they would probably contribute greatly to your blog. I wish you the best of luck. :-)

Thank you, everyone! Yes, I'm doing really well, knock on keyboard. I haven't attempted any parties or social events -- that would test my mettle a little too much yet -- but I'm fine at home, going out to eat, etc. I do have some non-alcoholic beer sometimes and I guess some would consider that cheating but it works for me. I appreciate all of your ideas. Hope everyone is doing well.
