BAD WEATHER IN SYDNEY

Watching the world news last night I saw with horror the type of weather the people of Sydney are having to put up with, the floods there look horrendous..

I know that Scooby Doo lives in Sydney and I just wondered if any more of the Australian branch of the family were affected at all..

BAD WEATHER IN SYDNEY

Sydney got hit pretty hard but Newcastle, the city that is north of Sydney (about a 90 min drive north of Syd) has been hit really hard! It's really shocking! A few of my friends are volunteers in the Rural Fire Service and have spent the weekend up towards Newcastle, helping out. Clearing trees off roads etc.

It's a sunny day today.

Sydney has a very short water supply (drought) so hopefully our major water dam is full!

BAD WEATHER IN SYDNEY

I have been worried about my Aussie friends also. Thanks for the update Scooby. I hope you didn't have any damage. I grew up with lots of hurricanes and know how frightening these things can be. Glad it's sunny there today.
