AG , feel better! I hate being sick too especially if hubby's not around. You've got to do it all. I like Mondays because I am usually off . It gives me a chance to "plan" my week.

Pauly, sorry about Louie. I'd be upset too. Dealing with a kid who's under the weather isn't easy. I was talking to my coworker the other day. She's a grandmother and I wonder how or if you discipline them. That's got to be fine line right there.

Not much new here. It's been raining and will continue to rain all week. Whatever. Have a good night guys!

I am here. I have had a drama willed week. An SUV crashed through the front of one my offices. No one was hurt , but the ENTIRE car was in the office. Needless to say, a tremendous amount damage was done and insurance is involved, etc.
Tuesday, Nana was turning left into Walmart and a young man on a motorcycle tried to beat the light and clipped the back of her car and crashed and died. It's all over FB and the paper about senior drivers and we are livid coz we have the crash report.
I am so sorry the young man died, but social media can be a nightmare.
So.......I have been a little busy....
Love you all and date night was ok.....nothing too thrilling....

Mama, glad you're okay. Were you in your office when it happened? What a shock. Were you shaken up? RIP to the young man, and I'll bet Nana was shaken too. Sheesh.

Sorry to hear that. I just looked at the channels 4 & 12 websites and they are reporting it like it was the driver's fault. It's too bad that these things end up being "tried" by the public first before any kind of objective report is issued. Sorry to hear about the SUV crashing into your office. That's the kind of thing you hear about all the time in South Florida. Don't expect that kind of thing in Jacksonville. When I was still on the faculty at UCF, there was a wall I'd pass on my commute around a residential development right on a curve that was always getting smashed up over many a weekend by a drunk driver losing control.

Oh Mama that's awful. I'm so sorry for your Nana - she must be feeling terrible enough as it is without the false accusations and trial by media.

So sorry mama! Nana must be a mess. A very dear friend of my parents had a car accident about 2 years ago. Mentally she has not been the same since. They believe she is suffering from PTSD. Sorry about the young man.

Geez and I thought I was having a tough day. My parents were here today and dad is so angry about a little something that happened Sunday. His anger doesn't seem appropriate and it scares the crap outta me. Then I spoke to my twin on the phone and she was crying. Her husband is still without a job and no prospects in site. Plus her son is supposed to graduate high school in about a month and is failing English. Her daughter is hanging out with the crazy loser ex bf again. They got me all teary. If I was still drinking I would've run out for some wine. But I didn't. My usually sweet hubby has been somewhat mean as of late or maybe I'm just super sensitive, I don't know, but I'm in a funk today and having a pity party. Cuddling with my sweet Lucy right now and I'm just going to bed early.
Sorry to be such a downer tonight, thanks for letting me vent.
Hoping everyone's Wednesday was better than mine.love you all.

Well, this has been a very rough week for the steppers and it is only Wednesday. Mama, my heart goes out to you . . . one of those dramas would have put me over the edge let alone two. How stressful. And poor Nana, so tragic.

Liz, family stress is the ULTIMATE for me. I'm working hard on that with my therapist but it is not easy. It is so hard not to take on the burdens of ones we love. Hang in there, dog therapy is awesome, keep your head above water because sounds like they will need you.

Nora, pauly, aifli (I'm sure I got that wrong, sorry) I hope you are all well.

SK, Rusty, Glassie, I'm hoping the pain battles are getting easier. Let us know.

Techie - I love how you zoom through with your black and white swim thing . . . so cool.

I am feeling better but still REALLY TIRED. I'm wondering about strep or mono but I don't have time for that . . . I did force myself to go to band rehearsal tonight and that was really good for me. Got me out of my head and making music is always an excellent thing.

                                Stay healthy - AG
