Hey guys.

Nora, thanks for asking about my parents. My mother is a strong stoic women and doesn't complain much about my dad. She simply rolled her eyes at me when he was carrying on. I think as time goes on he is getting harder to deal with. He just tells it like it is. How is your mom doing? I have watched the Andy Griffith show too recently. I find Otis not to be funny anymore either.

Mama, how is nana holding up? You've just got so much going on. I. Glad you still have time to check in with us. Hopefully this will be a better week.

Rusty, hope the MRI went well. When do you get the results? Hope it's all good news. Can't remember are you doing physical therapy?

Pauly, I'm glad you found support when no one was here. Yup, that's happened to me too. Hope your day off was good and maybe even fun.

Aihfl petunia is so cute! Sounds like your bike ride was fun. I'm a little envious. If I remember correctly Florida is pretty flat, nice for bike riding. Not the case here in the northeast.

Glassy, that's great your grandbaby and your kids are close by. I'm sure they'll be great parents and you'll be a great grandma. That is so exciting.

I'm super bummed tonight, I went to eat some trail mix tonight and I broke a tooth/filling. It's hurting me a bit. Mark is graduating next week and we are going on vacation. I just hope I can get it fixed somehow someway before we go. Of course it's gotta happen during the busiest week! Ugh! Off to take some Advil.

Florida is not as flat as seems in some places. While we don't have steep hills, when you get toward the center of the peninsula, you can have a lot of long, slow grades, as was the case Thursday. In any case, I am still enjoying this last gasp of spring weather before the heat returns again tomorrow or Monday. It's back to the salt mines, but I'll probably go on another ride this evening after I finish work, but will stick closer to home this time. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms! I woke up before 6 am today and couldn't fall back to sleep. That is unprecedented . Hubby was outside all day yesterday and his allergies are giving him all kinds of problems. Stuffy nose being the reason I couldn't sleep. The poor thing.

Glassy, that picture is amazing! Yes technology sure has progressed. I didn't even have an ultrasound with Erin.

Can't believe I am not alone with the tooth problem. I did get an appointment for Thursday morning. My sister works for a dentist and if I couldn't get in with mine I would've gone to hers. She thinks I'm gonna need a cap . The dentist said it really could wait till I get back, but I'm a nervous nelly and want it fixed yesterday!

Super busy day yesterday. Car wash at church, but it was cloudy so we are preparing for our semi annual yard sale. Erin came by in the afternoon and I highlighted her and Cjs and my hair. Erin and Dan were going out for drinks with dans brother and CJ and Mark went along. I love that my kids hang out together and they had a fun time. I must've done something right.

Off to church in a bit. We are having a Mother's Day brunch. Another cloudy, cool rainy day. It's starting to get to me! Gonna go pop some vitamin Ds.

Not much going on around here really. Went & got my lip & brows threaded yesterday. That was the excitement of the weekend. LOL
I'm using the HD player that the kids gave me. I got Mom a teddy bear that she loved. It's sitting next to her. She doesn't remember anymore but she was so happy with it earlier. Made me happy.

Kids were going to stay with Mom tomorrow evening so we could go to Disneyland one more time. Our last chance because our passes run out next week. We only used them a couple of times because it was hard to get away from Mom for that. But, hubby has been feeling awful for the past month. Pain really high. Irritability really high. And, I have no intention of trying to go to Disneyland with him like this while he tries to force himself to have fun. Been there, done that way too many times. I flat out told him in the past that it makes me have a bad time when he forces himself.
Anyway, didn't mean to get off and start complaining right off the bat. I'll be nice for a little bit longer and then jump in with the complaints. :harhar:

Yesterday hubby & I worked the Addams Family puzzle that I have from my childhood. That was fun. There is one piece missing though. It still looks good. I'll go take a picture.

A booklet with a mystery came with it.......a whole story about why was Cleopatra sick? Then you put the puzzle together and you can see that the spider web is catching all of Cleopatra's flies. LOL (Yes - I have always been weird. )
