Hey guys! I am here. I'm with you Nora and Pauly, I'm ususally in bed before 10 as well. But I wouldn't be able to sleep if hubby wasn't in bed with me anyway.
Pauly I'm glad Brady is coming home. I don't think I'd like an empty nest either.
Loving that everyone is coming here too post. I must admit I don't often venture off this thread and I look forward to getting to know you all!
Rusty, sorry you won't have any beach time in Florida. You are all work and not a lot of play lately, but I guess those bills have to be paid.
Sorry I wasn't around much today. After work we went to my sisters house. It's my nieces birthday today so we had dinner together. My BIL interview was from 9 to 4 today. He thinks he did well, but he won't hear until next week the earliest. He is one of many engineers laid off from his prior company and it is very competitive out there. Talk about stress.

Nora, cross post. My BIL was a bit zapped of energy tonight and was rather quiet. My niece seemed like she was enjoying herself, thanks for asking. She turned 21 today, you know that scary age when you can start drinking? The guys had a beer and that was that.
You described your moms emotions and face so well. It breaks my heart that you both have to deal with this. You are stronger than you think!

Yes - that is a scary age alright. Glad that it was a family dinner instead of her going out with friends.

I'm sure your BIL was so stressed out and tense during the entire meeting. Not to mention all the stress leading up to it. Holding good thoughts.

Thanks for your sweet words about my Mom. Everyone here is so patient letting me go on & on about it. But, it helps - it really does. Somehow just being able to share the feelings helps me so much. :hug:
