    Hey Rusty - I think you meant to post to TMH. I've never heard of Leslie Sansone and her walking DVD but if it can get TMH to walk 5 miles INSIDE during a tropical storm, I'm in!! That's a lot of steps! Great job TMH! I hope you get the mortgage stuff settled soon. What a mess.

    Good to hear from you Mama. Hoping this storm does not make your life miserable.

    Another day here . . . Little League game did not get rained out so that is good. They lost but not by much. I had to give a mini-lesson on the beauty of practice to a son that didn't want to rehearse his oral character monologue. Oh, and the canoe turned out great, if I do say so myself.

      Yes it was me who did the DVD. Her voice can be irritating as she never stops talking, but I just turn the sound way down. I am going to take to Canada.as dd lives out in country & I'm scared of dogs to be out walking. Been there done that.
      Fox news reporting central FL got the brunt of the storm. Hope you are ok, Mama Bear.

        Hi all - I love the inspiration to try to exercise, if I hear/read it enough I might actually do something! I did a few days of the military diet (thanks to TMH!) recently and continue to try to keep calories lower than they had been all spring...have lost 5-6 pounds and am glad about that!

        I'm here at work and finding myself having a hard time focusing. Hopefully it will get better soon - we do software development and I think we need some new projects to motivate us - working on the same projects for months gets boring.

        Red, it sounds like there has been a lot of change in your life I hope you are taking time to help process everything in a positive way. Nora hope things are better with your husband today! TMH any news?

          Frances, sounds Like a good job though. Software development. I always liked programming.

            The wind and rain howled all night, but it's quiet now. And it is supposed to sunny and 100 degrees by Saturday. Kill me now please!!
            Lizz (?) - I had a dime size "blister" at the top of my nose that's been there for several years. Lidocaine was used to numb it and then they shaved it.....now I have a lovely bandage on my nose. They also shaved a black mole on my tummy that has never seen the sun. Lab results will be back in two weeks, but my doc is pretty sure it's cancer.
            Gotta get to work....I love you all.....Nora don't kill your Mom or Hubs today, ok?

                Ouch mama! Did they do just a biopsy or get rid of it all? I had one on my nose a few years back and they just froze it off. It was precancerous. Glad you fared the storm ok.

                CJ and bf are in the midst of some turmoil. I hate to see my baby girl upset. A big "trigger" for me. Joe bought a cafe about a year ago and now wants to sell it. His parents are making this or really anything he does difficult.
                She wants to take a walk so I'm off to go with her and work some mommy magic.

                    Mama,glad they got those spots off,everything's clear though right? Anything cancer freaks me out,Liz,how come they're selling it already? Owning a cafe,coffee shop would be a blast I think but there is a lot of competition in the eatery biz,so I could see it being a headache,hello to all hope everyone has a nice night

                        Liz - sorry for the CJ sadness.
                        I don't mean to freak anyone out, but we are pretty sure it is cancer.....basal cell...the most common and easiest to treat.
                        I'll have results back from the lab in few weeks.
                        2:30 Rusty?? Good Lord!!
                        I was up at 5 and lounged till 7 and have been on the computer since.
                        Back to work......three conference calls today

                              Hey guys. Just need to vent a little if I may. Hubby is soo angry with me. I opened the window while he was working and totally freaked on me. I'm keeping my distance and have shed some tears. I know he is frustrated by some paper work he has to do and this is displaced frustration but I am tired of being at the brundt of his frustration. He just kept asking me why I insisted on opening the window. Why I couldn't just leave it alone. I'm sorry but my go to reaction is to drink because I'm so upset. There isn't anything in the house, but. . .
