But I do have to say this: aihfl - Dodgeball!! HOW FUN!!!! I laughed at you being good at the avoiding getting hit. That's the name of the game. LOL I think I'm going to pull that movie out and watch it. Glad you excused yourself from the drinking game. Those days are long gone.

Made some soup in the crock pot today, good day for it with the weather and all. Just did some random, long put off chores. Now that it's almost bed time the weather clears up! Did get Lucy out for a walk.

SK - I'm sorry to hear about your Mom & the ovarian cancer. I know they keep going back & forth on whether there is a link to the talc. But, I think they are now saying there is a 'possible' link.
I am already at a higher risk of ovarian cancer due to never being pregnant, being older, and endometriosis.

Been awhile so had lots of reading to do. Taking things over to house everyday. Actual moving day is Monday. Can't wait. In meantime will continue doing what I'm doing, scheduled for golf on Sat. That will actually be a nice break. Hopefully, I can focus now. LOL

Speaking of chiro, did hurt my back a little again. Should not be lifting so much. The good news is we leave for Canada on Thursday and both my dd and SIL are chiros. So no need for half hour visit away to regular guy here.

Sorry to hear all the talk about the big "C". Mama Bear, sure you will be just fine. I have a friend who has regular procedures including her lip area. She plays golf wearing special long sleeve clothing and always a hat. I'm better about sunscreen than I used to be, but I was one of those use baby oil and pour water on me teenagers. Then when I frequented a nice gym back in MN they had a tanning bed. I worked there every other Friday night so got all free tanning. Ugh!

Good morning everyone. I got a great book out of the library yesterday and am already about halfway through it (not a big book). It's called Flying Drunk, by Joseph Balzer. He was a flight engineer on a Northwest Airlines flight from Fargo, ND to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. All three of the cockpit crew were pinched by the FAA on arrival at MSP for operating a commercial aircraft under the influence and all three were convicted and sent to federal prison. It's a pretty riveting read. And unfortunately, things like this probably happen more often than we know. A JetBlue pilot was recently arrested at JFK Airport after flying a JFK-Orlando round trip with a .11 blood alcohol. He was pinched in a random screening.

Things are getting back to a "new" normal here, as "normal" as things can be, anyway. Hope everyone has a good Friday and weekend. I was supposed to go scuba diving tomorrow off Venice, Florida, but the dive boat captain cancelled the charter due to forecast heavy seas. I had new rigging made for my sailboat, so I should take advantage of my trip being cancelled and start setting it up. Also have a date with the psych professor again Sunday! Going to a Szechuan hot pot restaurant and then going to a Chinese massage place where I bought a groupon. It's a legit place, not a "happy ending" place, although I do have a "happy ending" place on my corner about half a block away. Ew!

Yes aihfl, things are getting back to normal. There are billboards all over Jax that say Orlando Strong. It's very moving.
I am just working, working, working.
Grant and Clay are awesome! Both are in school and Clay is currently looking for a job. They are at Nana's today cutting her grass and other stuff. They both go every Friday. Those two are the loves of my life.
Hubs is well, too. He has Nana calmed down a little and is still helping with estate planning and new cars and transferring title and all the other stuff she needs.
Sorry you had the tummy bug Nora.
And I am sorry for those of us that have been in a funk.
Rusty.....I need to catch up on you and G-man!! I am glad someone is getting some action around here!!
OK.....back to my audit. I am working on some deals and stalking brokers and owners like crazy to try and land some new business.

Mama-that little boy getting killed by that gator at the Grand Floridian and literally sent chills down my spine. My family and I stayed there in 1994, and my two little nieces and my nephew and I I went swimming in the lagoon. I have been meaning to ask you… Is the lake that Nana lives on freshwater or salt water? Don't you feel afraid when you go swimming that there might be gators working around? I sure would.

Nora, you made me laugh when you said you were conceding to me in the race to claim Mr.G's affection. Haha! I probably have scared him off MWO.

Yikes,sorry Rusty hope you have a safe flight ,yeah its been all over the news about talcum powder causing ovarian cancer, lawyers here are advertising that they.now handle these cases,ok I was at the dollar store getting fathers day cards and I seen something out of the corner of my eye,it was a mouse running by aaaaaah!!! I buy food there,gross!
