On the subject of Vegas weddings that's what I did - it was amazing, decided on the plane on Saturday, bought a licence Monday, booked it that afternoon, did the deed on Wednesday lunchtime and in the pool by 3pm. Saved a fortune and don't regret it one bit. I'll try and find a photo or two at the weekend.

In other news I got so fed up at work yesterday I put my CV with an agency not expecting anything to come of it, they emailed last night with two potential jobs and I said to go for both, already got an interview for one of them so maybe its time to move on. Same line of work but more money which I am going to need as my boy (ok dog) has got severe arthritis which is a bit of worry as he's only 7.

I'm free, horray!! And thank you all SO much for the good wishes!! Won't have results until tomorrow. For a while there I was thinking about going back studying again, but after that 3 day cram, the stress, organising the kids, the state of the house.. I will appreciate being boring again. Bring on the boring..

I'm getting to know the tech guys so well I'll be inviting them to Jenny's wedding.

Mers, don't know if you were here when I did a home course in Health and Social Care...........it felt like I'd forgotten how to read and write. We'll have a cake day tomorrow. Feel it in my bones you've passed.

Evening all! interview is on Friday morning at 10am, I am told it will last about 90 minutes beginning to wonder if I am doing the right thing but always just gone with what life brings, if I get a half-decent job offer I will go, its one way to lose the "in" tray at the current place

I was asked today if I want to do more studying but will avoid that if I can, done a one-year certificate in pensions administration but won't even pretend I've enjoyed writing the assignments so good luck to you Mary, the pressure is worse as you get older.

Taken the easy way out tonight, got all sorted to go to the gym but when I opened the door the heavens opened too so headed back indoors and had a night doing nothing. Now Jackie what kinds of cake are we having? much more like it

Not a bad day today. Got our new cooker delivered.........the old one conked out but luckily it was covered by the insurance thing. Picked it in white this time instead of black, guaranteed to be hacky mucky by Sunday.
