Just popping in to say hello! Had a hard job getting on the site as I had forgotten my password. Everyone seems to be doing great with a lot of AF years or months under your belts. I think I stopped posting as I never felt I contributed much and seemed to take more of the wise words than I ever gave out.
Still got the running addiction and am trying to replace it with more walking as I realise I cannot keep running forever. Off to Greece in a few weeks and so glad I got euros left from last year.
Very sad about what is happening in the UK--Many families and friends have fallen out over this referendum decision. I can get an Irish passport as my parents were born in Ireland--So I can remain European!
Thank you lovely Army for starting me on the sober path--

Thanks Molly I hope you and the family are doing OK.
Well done Syl on passing that exam and beating the young ones as well--In a race I love passing the younger runners and beating them to the finish line. Probably ageist but I do think we can become invisible to others as we get older.

At this stage you are either in or out.

Probably talking to myself now - but just had to say it .........

Sorry to the rest of you folks for grumpiness .....
Lurking when in that I've looked on my phone which is impossible to type on, useless bit of kit that it is Satz, always plan to post when I get to a computer but not been happening lately but definitely in.

          Evening lovelies,
Well there's a sight for sore eyes, Our Whizzy. :happy2: Don't you dare be a stranger. Bollix to the not contributing, living and showing a full and mostly satisfying AF life is worth its weight in gold.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

                          Morning Mick and Molly.

                          22 degrees is perfect Mick.

Molly, are you not feeding the masses today? Have you most of next week off?? How's the sleeping?

Off to deutschland tomorrow, dinner in the folks this evening. More of less packed (2 trips to the pavilions yesterday!).
This day last year I had a month sober behind me, but caved on holiday. Didn't have mwo or an army behind me though.
The scout motto in our house is 'Be Prepared'. Bring it on.

Morning all just back from a run where I came last!

I used to be car sick and it ruined many a long car journey have no problems now even on a very bumpy road.

Granddaughter got all the bullying sorted out by the school--parents were all called in and shown the abusive texts sent by their darling daughters--All resolved now and she is now a very happy 13 year old with loads off supportive friends.

Satz I am back to our lovely greek island in a few weeks!
