Morning, morning, morning
Did you have a smile on your face when you opened the curtains this morning, Mers?
Unfortunately our sofa is beyond saving  It has given us many happy years but its not fire retardant any more and the springs have gone.............so we'll be saying a fond farewell at the local tip............all welcome but no flowers. A cup of tea and biscuits will be available after.
Off in an hour or so to catch the bus to go to a wedding do about 3 hours from here. I'm going straight to the hotel and Mr JC will be coming straight from work.It could be worse, I could be filing.

Morning.
Got new lappy so will be back properly when I've gotten used to it.
iPad just not the same
Nice one Mers on the curtain rail as a daily reminder of how far you've come
I got a new ball cock in the water tank in attic along with the new lappy to have as reminder of the job I've left :llama:

Hello and good evening,
Got back about 2ish and then had to do the shopping and pick Bess up from my cousin...........and of course watch Toy Story for the umpteenth time.
Now then the wedding was held here Whitworth Hall Country Park - Country / Royal Park in Spennymoor, Spennymoor - This is Durham plus a marquee in the grounds surrounded by deer:heartbeat: In fact their wedding favours were wee packets of deer pellets so you could feed them.........her parents had hired the whole place from Wednesday last week.
Luckily we were only the wedding evening do. It was boiling.
I'm afraid there will be a sad lack of fascinators in England for the coming months and it seemed all the women guests had at least one and some of them of mega proportions..............the mother of the bride looked fab in one the size of a medium size rose bush in full bloom.
The bride was stunning and even after a long hot day looked as fresh as a daisy. Plenty of drunks but all very good natured. But the noise, the noise, the NOISE. How loud are drunk people?
John Travolta AKA Mr JC lovely time on the dance floor every time I turned to talk to someone he was up on the dance floor. He even spun me around a few times and I've got a really sore back.
Food, hog roast and chips (fries) and cake............lots of cake.It could be worse, I could be filing.

Its Lion King.It could be worse, I could be filing.

:rotlf: Well, it was Little Mermaid for my son. And he wanted to leave before the movie was over. I wanted to stay but he won. :smiley_simmons: So, I had to wait for the video."Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

Oh JC, that venue looks just fabulous!! Did your daughter go, would she be tempted to go with somewhere like that for her wedding?
I love marquee weddings (we actually had one but posh, it was not!!), sounds like a terrific day. We have a wedding next week, again evening.. My first sober wedding (being pregnant and not drinking is not the same).
Welcome home Molly.. Where did you stay, hotel? Camping
Yep, we have a great little country when it's not pouring out of the heavens!
Hey Nora! Big anniversary coming up! How are things? How's your mam (mom! Mum!) doing?AF - July 19th 2015 :happy2:

Totally agree - deny yourself NOTHING .....
Past a certain age and the saying I've always had "could be dead tomorrow" is even more meaningful :haha:
Applies to everything except alcohol.
My day is my own. Doing nothing - mother has taken herself off for a week of luxury in the country side - with her mates - hugely subsidised by old folks charity.
They have a ball ......... eating, bingo, dancing, walks , music ........
This a a far cry from the broken lady we had just a few weeks ago. God bless Prozac .....
