SKendall wow, you just can't seem to catch a break. Could this have anything to do with the accident. I actually work in the endoscopy unit at the hospital. I have never heard of "terminal" ileitis . Knowing what I know, could they mean the end of the ileum is inflamed? That would be my guess. Doing a gasto/colon will provide a lot of answers. Please keep us posted.

AG, I did do something for myself today. I hung out in the pool, then went shopping with my twin and then went for coffee. I made a bathing suit cover up today. I haven't sewn anything in years. It turned out pretty decent, I may even wear it.

Nora, I love the bracelet. It's a lovely sentiment and I'm sure she'll love it.

Mama, I envy your date nights. Nana must be so proud of her grandsons. I hope "they" don't take everything away from her. Isn't that what insurance is for. I know my FIL had a car accident a few months before he passed away. Two people were injured and sued. "They" never came after his estate. I hope it all works out.

Well, all that sewing wore me out! I'm off to watch a little Olympics before bed. Sweet dreams.

Can I ask a silly question, please?

So, the bicyclists in the Olympics are followed by cars that have a bunch of bikes on top. Is that in case someones bike breaks and they grab a spare?

What is everyone up to today? I am hanging out. We celebrated dil's birthday yesterday. She will be going out with her family tonight. She did love her bracelet and I gave her a gift card for $30.00 and 30 $1.00 bills. Theme for turning 30.

SK - I thought the same thing as Liz regarding the 'terminal' word. When I googled it, it sounded like it was talking about the end of that part. Are you going in tomorrow?

Liz - so great that you can spend time with your sister. How cool that you sewed a cover up! It has been years & years since I've done any of that.

Rusty - guess you are out having fun this weekend. I hope!

Well - I guess I should actually do something instead of sitting here. I've been lazy too much lately.

Yes. Each team has a car with a mechanic and spare wheels etc in it as well.

Hello all. Yes, I googled that term and Lizz and Nora you are both right it refers to the end of the iliac not the length of an illness, whew! Will be seeing GI man for photographs ASAp. E.R. dr. made the requisition for the specificity. I'm feeling a little better today and fever is gone so have a better energy and I'm on day 2 only of the antibiotic.

Nora, that bracelet is priceless in it's sincerity and honesty, a very good choice.

Hey guys. So it finally happened. Joe came to hubs and I and asked if he could marry CJ!
He wants to give her the ring next Sunday here at our house with his siblings, parents and us all present. We of course agreed. I will make lunch for all of us and try and get CJ out of the house, so as to surprise her. Yup, it gets better. Joe put a deposit down on a property in St. Croix. It is their plan to "flip" it. I don't even know what to think. I like Joe and it's about what I expected for CJ. She has really matured in this relationship and I'm so proud of her. My "little handful" does have a good head on her shoulders. It's been a freaking emotionally draining day. Off to the blankie fort to absorb all this.
                            Hope everyone is doing good.

Good morning. Had a bit of a fitful nights sleep. I guess reality is setting in and now I am emotional about CJ leaving. I have no idea when. Having a bit of a tough time facing this day.
