Apologies for my absence, came the nearest I have ever been to falling off the wagon but I didn't, I planned to but came out of the shop with a bunch of lilies instead but been in such a horrible state of mind I've kept my head down.

The trigger - kids again, son #2 called round to tell me he was moving house a week last Friday and moving 200 miles away in a couple of days and that he is getting married on 3 September and no you are not invited mother. Was so incredible hurt I wandered over to the local shop to buy gin and thought better of it by I got there, but been a rough couple of weeks.

Hope all the troops have had a better few weeks!
