Zorsted after boiling the kettle for Mr JC's pot noodle. Bet he wants soy sauce as well which means I'll have to drag myself over to the knife drawer for the scissors to open the wee sachet.

Not really he's having a slow braised beef casserole.

Lived off noodles for a long time during the back packing years, the cheap nasty ones with the curry mix that cost about 3 pence..more money for cheap wine in a box. :egad:

Shudder.

Brings back a memory of when the kids were little. They'd gonr on and on and on about having a pot noodle and I finally gave in to pester power and bought them one...............so there they are sitting eating this disgrace of a food, when then door bell rings and its Grandma & Granddad...............:egad: I was mortified.

I'm in work today. Obviously didn't cause enough chaos on Tuesday so I'll see yous later.

Do you have a time of year that's busier that others? I suppose January is always a time for reflection & a good time to give up? I never tried in January- First real attempt was for the month of November.

I'm not sure.........we always wait for an onslaught in January and it seems as just as busy as normal. Monday's are very busy apparently (haven't worked a Monday at this place yet).................must be a lot of people do a bit of thinking and overdoing it at the weekend and decide to make enquiries.
