We were going to try and get away sharp in the morning for the caravan but Mr JC didn't get in til yon time then out for a few pints with the 'boys' ............so I made the executive decision to just get there before dark.

Molly I wouldn't worry too much about it. When I worked for a big corporation we had a similar situation. A night-worker had been watching porn on the company computer and what he was watching had a virus in it which "shared" it to everyone in the company. It brought the system to a standstill and took the IT department some time to clean everything up.

Whilst they did see some "private" emails along the way, they were really only interested in getting rid of the problem and not in looking at what someone may have said about someone else. All that happened in the end was we all got an email from the IT Director reminding us that nothing is "private" on the works computer and to think carefully about what we sent in future! No harm done. Hopefully your situation will be the same.

Thats awful Molly, but like Tony said, they dont care about your emails and it wont be your direct managers going through them anyway (they are probably also shitting themselves!). And yes, any email I send from my work account is not my property.. I use gmail for giving out!

JC have a blast! If no one else does the Sunday shout out (cos I am shy), I'll put it up late tonight (stress!!).

Joe spent the day in Howth benjy -- he went to the archaeological thingy organised by the Heritage week shower -- said it was brilliant -- it was all on up at the Martello Tower -- said the traffic was lunacy..

Very social day today, kids party's and gatherings of people. The number of people I met who were either 'completely hungover' or going home to open a bottle of wine, was sort of staggering, ie, almost everyone! I understand people explaining their hangover look, but the glass of wine to finish off a day is now so embedded in our daily routine, that it's expected that we're at it. Well of course I was, I am by no means judging, just amazed at how normal it's become.

Hi, Molly. I noticed it was down this morning and it occurred to me that one of these days it may really be down for good, given the apparent lack of interest on the part of the owners. Part of me thought, well, that would make whether to participate or not a non-issue. Sometimes it's nice to have decisions made for us! But mostly the thought made me sad - I'd be sorry to lose track of the people here and it would really be a shame for people who are at the AF stage of truly needing the site. It often was down a couple years ago when I was very dependent and it was awful to not have the support. You guys were talking about the importance of being here for "returners" the other day. It sure would be a shock to need the site after time away and find that it was no longer here! Anyway, the "site cannot be reached" page reminded me I'm grateful for the site and the support we all give one another. So, thank you!

I imagine this place will plod away for now, obviously they pay for the minimum support, but at least there is support and they got it back up eventually.
I'm an optimist, so hope that there's enough connections on FB for everyone (that wants/needs) to regroup on another forum it if it came to that.

Evening all, hectic few days. Just been reading about the stashes of empties, I used to think I was being very clever and crafty, putting them in the car to take to the bottle bank might have worked if I hadn't hid them in the wardrobe or under the desk til I had a chance to take them!

There used to be a MWO group on FB - don't know if its still there.

Could be a really late night chez Sylv, himself has emptied the contents of two wardrobes onto our bloody bed. What a time to start a clear-out.

I felt just sad when it was down so many people on here who I truly care about and so much information on stuff,would be so sad if it was gone, I do hope if it ever comes to an end we get some kind of warning first, just hafta wait and see I guess
