        Good morning pals :heartbeat:

Well said Molly. Are your energy levels ok again?
Ah Starty, that probably gave you a fright! I did it on gravel a few months ago and felt v sorry for myself.. Trip away makes up for it though.

Morning everyone.. Bit stiff today (ran part of the marathon with sister).. Amazing to watch people, so many in their 60s and 70s, maybe more. One guy ran it blindfolded (for pieta house), but it was all the people lining the streets with arms stretched out with food and drink that sort of blew me away. Think I have an itch.

Yeah she is a sweetheart. Hardly drinks herself which is a help.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Satz a brilliant speech....it belongs in the halls of speech along with Lincolns Gettysberg address ,Kennedys Berlin speech,M Luther King, Einstein and his theory of relativity,Newtons laws of gravity,Human Rights act articles 2,4,8 9,10,14....

can I quote you on your last point about being answerable??

I do agree with you without question...just one point tho...the power of the internet does not include emotives in the way we write, its black and white...now Im not talking about the keyboard warriors who are happy to start an argument in an empty room,, but sometime messages can be misconstrued...one piece of advice I got yonks ago was ...before you send something ..stop think read and ask yourself ..how would you feel to get that message?would love to say I stuck to that but.....

                  Dear Satz,
I agree with you that we should all be behaving like adults on this forum and not like "ten year olds in the school yard."
That's why I take issue with Rusty calling a person a "miserable, pathetic creature", saying that she shouldn't be called a HER but an IT, thereby denying a person their personhood; and saying that the "creature" is "most obviously drinking", when she doesn't know whether this is true or not.
This is plain, pure bullying -I don't know what else you'd call it!

The older folk are amazing. Always gives me loads of inspiration to carry on and stop whinging about me aches and pains.

Same with email. I find that the written word can come across very different than if you can see body language etc. That is why I like emoticons they can sometimes help

Evening : had a great day.
Went for drive to Dublin Mountains - hiked for feckin' miles.
Stopped in lovely place for grub then into Cinema to see this.
                            It was BRILLIANT.
Jacks - set in Newcastle. Just so real & raw. I cried.

Dunno who you are Slo - so will not comment to someone hiding behind a pseudonym.
I will say : don't bring squabbles from other threads to the Army please - we don't care - we are here to support those genuinely trying to kick alcohol ...........

I'm not hiding behind a pseudonym any more than anybody else is at MWO! I mean, I'm not going to use my real name -but it is my real initials.

I'm not bringing a squabble over from another thread! Rusty said that right here in the Army.
And it was mean-spirited and not supportive.
