Had to look up the word "loon" to see what it means to youz. It's a diving bird in Canada and actually pictured on the Canadian one-dollar coin which is called a "loonie". Anyway, now I know you were talking about trousers.

As for the rest of today's posts, I don't understand what digging up past disagreements on the boards would accomplish. This is a forum of help and support for alkies, not a school yard nor a popularity contest. So why don't we just all go back to regular scheduled programming and get on with the support part for those of us who need it and those who have found MWO in their search for support for our common problem and let bygones be bygones. It really is of no benefit to anyone.

On a lighter note, I had a delightful day at work with my grandson. Three-day weekend starting tomorrow and I've got sewing to be done. Two, yes TWO baby quilts to be worked on. One to be finished and one to be started and hopefully finished soon. Trip to downtown Athens planned for Saturday. Tomorrow is a holiday but I will be keeping company with my sewing machine for most of the day.

Just talked to my sister in Canada (near Toronto) and they have had their first snowfall of the season. Not much, mind you but enough to leave about 1/4" on their front deck. Yuck. I'm so glad I live in Greece. 17C here today even tho' it was clouded over all day.
