Morning all,

Mr S has not had any since last Friday again I thought he might go back after a few jars at the grad but no!

Just had a horrific dream. I was driving and took a swig from a bottle then crashed my car into another. God, the fear in that dream was real I tell ya, real! Smelling my breath into my hand, wondering if I should do a runner etc.....scary stuff

Morning Starty, that's not nice, dreams can seem so real.
When I stop drinking dreams returning are one of the first positive signs I see. I suppose I still dream when on the grog but my mind is too soaked to know.

Yes, this is the first one I have had and it felt truly awful and very scary. Fortunately I woke straight up, in a complete start!

National Holiday today but not for yours truly. Taking a break from vacuuming then have to get going in the kitchen.

Good job! to Starty and Tony - great to see your continuing sobriety!!

Oney-bum - I have 3 grandkiddies and a fourth on the way in just over a month. Younger son married a year ago and his wife has a little boy from her first marriage - Master Peter, who just turned 6 the other day. Younger son is not his father but he is his Dad, as Peter calls him. You would never guess that they are not really Dad and son, they have such a good, loving relationship on both sides. Makes my heart warm to see them. Then we have Miss Melina who will turn 3 in November and her wee sister, Miss Evie who is just 3-1/2 months old. New baby due in December to younger son and his wife is a boy, too so we'll have 2 and 2!! Just adore being a Grandmother - they are the light of my life!

KTAB - you know how much we all admire the fact that you are still here which means you have not given up and that you still want to kick AL's butt for good. Well done on a week that has been hangover free!! As for the weekend, my advice is very simple. Think it forward. You can do it, my friend. It's easier than you think.

Just back from the shops - big offer on mini bottles of wine. Saw one women loading up her trolly.. she was me just over a year ago, Bulk buying and telling anyone within earshot how many guests your catering for (well the last bit was me - I was paranoid random strangers would judge me).
