I'm Queen Foodie Nursie! starting to feel human again, had to drive up by the Hard Rock hotel to give Michelle some birthday money, I know she's broke so at least now she can do something at least, I worry about that child but damn she's not a child anymore, just acts like one, can't help but feel that she'd be different if I hadn't exposed her to my drinking but when I think back she's always been a wild child, way before I even looked at a drink, hope everyone is wellI have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:
I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

Happy Birthday aihfl, that looks like my recipe for cobbler for any fruit. Love it with rhubarb and ice cream in the spring.
Pauly, glad you're feeling better.
Nursie, a glass of fizzy drink and a candy bar stops the craving, also l-glutamate. Deal with the sugar later.
I just saw the ad choices are all cobbler recipes.Enlightened by MWO

Hi Gang!!!
I just got home and now I have a 3-day weekend....all to myself!!!! YIPPEE!!!
Aihfl-your cobbler recipe sounds phenomenal!! I would go with peaches, rhubarb, apples...hey, thanks for the cinnamon idea on the apples! Sorry about the nasty neighbor...GEEZ!!!
K9/Adina (her new MWO name)-if you are reading this post, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, too! I hope you and Albert play checkers tonight. Aihfl, Nursie, AG, and TMH...when we talk about "playing checkers," we are talking about having s-x. Aihfl-I hope you are playing checkers, too!!!
Mr.V-so glad you are here!!! Good luck at the reunion and please don't overthink the "who is drinking, and who is not." The truth is, no one cares...really, they don't. I am 55, and I am finding out that A LOT of people my age don't drink anymore Alcohol made them less productive, fat, or it just wasn't fun anymore. I never suffered from social anxiety and I never needed AL to loosen up and become an extrovert...I've always been an extrovert, and if social anxiety IS something you struggle with, just don't buy into AL's false claims to make things better for you. Come on here instead. We will keep you entertained. Hahahaha!!
Pauly-If I had a whole cobbler in the house, I would eat the whole thing, too, because I live alone.
Liz-GREAT job on passing up on the retirement party!
Ni Nora, MAMA, Glassy (check in, please), Pauly, Skendall, and other loved ones here! Off to eat and then work out. :-) Happy Thursday night!Last edited by Rusty; October 21, 2016, 05:35 AM.

Rusty, I just have an addiction to blueberry anything!and in a cobbler, with some whipped cream forget about it! I figure I'd cut out a piece like Aihfl did,eat that, get a teensy bit more, then have a fork ready to graze again and again I figure if I eat it standing up.... no calories hahaI have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

Haha Pauly, or like my SIL does. . .she only has ONE piece. Yup, it's an 8 by 10 size piece! Also my girls believe that if you share there's not calories. I was good today, kept my "pieces" bite sized!
Went to another venue tonight. OMG, pick one already, please? Hoping we can settle this soon. UGH. Lucy was sick today, vomiting and not eating. I hated to leave her, but she probably just slept anyway, she is cuddling with her daddy right now. Hoping for a decision on the venue tomorrow and a happy puppy!
Hmm, someone asked about the decorations we bought for the engagement party. We got a bunch of square vases. We got burlap and ribbon to tie on the vases. Then we will make a sign with the burlap and ribbons. Sounds a bit rustic, I suppose, but we are going for a "fall in love" type theme. Colors will be maroon orange and gold.
Pauly, happy birthday to your daughter! How old is she? Don't blame yourself. Whether you were drinking or not, you are a great mother. I go by what you post here and you're kids are lucky to have you!
Well I'd better get ready for bed, my early day tomorrow. Rusty, you sure do work hard and you deserve the day off, but I am envious of you? Enjoy it.
Good night guys! Love you all.

Hi everyone
Friday afternoon here and I'm on leave until 1/11. It isn't really a rest though as I have heaps of uni stuff to do and I'm getting my house ready to put on the market. I figure I'll tackle one room each day. Oh - and the baby's coming over for lunch on Sunday (lol - with her parents of course). There's two ways of looking at the holes in your shoes
You can dig the ventilation... or you can sing the blues
I didn't come this far to only come this far.
