Good Morning, Everyone!

I had a very lazy day off yesterday-I admit I accomplished very little, other than to take a long nap and watch movies. Now it's time to get to work. My closest friend and her husband are coming over for dinner tomorrow night and I have a lot to do today. Menu: chicken marsala, asparagus with hollandaise, my mom's potato recipe, and tiramisu for dessert.

Nora-I was worried about you so good to see you back. I hope you are feeling better. You said you were in a bad place in your head..is it because of the job?

Liz-I am delighted you have found the venue. Must be a huge relief for you.

Skendall-wow, the move date seemed like it snuck up pretty quickly.

Pauly-how was your day off?

Aihfl-Billy Joel-I would say $100 is still a good price. I love Billy Joel. Red velvet cake-LOVE IT!!!

Mr.G-you won't believe this...I had a dream about you last night...you and I were on a date and we were eating dinner and you said, "I am wearing a rug. Can you tell?" Hahahahahha

Early check in, going off to a lake for a day of kayaking before the weather turns for the winter. Leaves should be beautiful, temps in the high 50's.
Going with Mrs V and two others couple, small picnic planned. should be fun, and no alcohol involved.

Did some running around this morning and we stopped by Barnes & Noble. I found a Carol Burnett book. I'm looking forward to reading that.
We are going to try to sell some stuff on Craigslist & Etsy. We have a ton of stuff - old books, games, etc. As we go thru the garage, we are pulling stuff out to try to sell. We did sell on eBay before but that is when hubby was in better health. I am going thru all the stuff that I have stored out there for years. Time to get rid of it the majority of it.
We will be clearing out my Mom's house right after the first of the year. So, I have to take care of all of this now because there will be some things that I will be bringing home.
So, that is my exciting day.
