One Step at a Time - October 2016

Popping in from work.
I have 7 days af today. Mid week I thought I was having some kind of break down but I am feeling a bit better today. I saw my oncologist and she said that the chemo induced menopause has thrown my hormones around a lot.
I have a therapy appointment tonight that I am really looking forward to and I feel like I'm doing things I should be doing.
I am just taking it day by day and praying a lot.

Nursie - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! Menopause is not easy & to have it induced by the chemo is hard. Hang in there. It does get better - menopause and AF. :hug:

NS - I tried listening to the link you posted. But, it was too close to my bedtime. I'm hoping for some alone time this weekend.

Things have been a little stressful here at home the past couple days or so. Hubby has not been feeling well. And he has been a little short tempered. So, I have been doing the dance I do.......make everyone happy. I have been doing so much better but have really slipped back into that mode the last couple weeks. So, I am going to make me some time to listen to my new audio book. And, I'm going to take time to enjoy things this weekend.
We were supposed to have a big rain come thru. But, didn't happen. Just a tiny bit. This weather change is heartbreaking.

Oh - it'll all be fine. Not the weather - but the home front will be just fine. I just needed to vent.

Quiet here today. I slept in & then Hubby & I went to the grocery store. (My favorite place :shakingno: ) We also went to Subway and had a sandwich.

Now, I'm kicked back watching

Hey guys! Been celebrating all weekend. Erin and Dan stopped by today then we went out to dinner with the kids. I don't enjoy crowds much so we had an early dinner. Came back here for cake and more gifts. It's finally winding down, the birthday festivities are over until next week. My parents are taking us out for our birthdays. My older sisters birthday is next Sunday. Convienent don't you think? Just watching some James Bond with hubby now.

I woke up in a panic attack this morning - second time recently. Had to pull the car over yesterday because I got dizzy. Sigh.........
Just needed to vent. Going to continue clearing out our garage that is filled with so many boxes of sentimental stuff. Does no good like that so we are sorting. A pile of true keepsakes, a pile of online sales, a pile of yard sales, a pile of Goodwill, and trash. Should only take us 10 years. :shocked:

I made it to the gym twice last week. A miracle! It felt great and I'm scheduling it in for next week as well. My body needs yoga, it is a good thing, especially for my very busy brain.

P.S. RUSTY - I credit you for getting my butt to the gym . . . your advice on putting the workouts at the end of the day was very much needed. (Not that I was working out in the morning, but just saying thank you . . . ) :eek-new:
