BIG can of worms there if you manage them ....
Yes I can just imagine a complaint being raised by the guy. "I am being bullied as I cannot flick my boogers on the carpet without being picked on" :haha:

Morning Molls, that sounds horrific! When is the plumber coming? Can you claim on your insurance for the damages? Do you often get leaks?

Well the trip to the surgeon was not good. Not only do I have arthritis but I have hip dysplasia too. Apparently my hips did not develop properly as a child and they are deformed which is why they are arthritic. Not only that but the top of my hip bone has a sort of bump on it which has knocked off a bit of bone on the socket which in turn has damaged the cartilage! As I am older there is not much they can do Anyway he wants me to have an MRI scan to see the extent of damage. He just said painkillers and no running. Gutted. Oh yeah and a hip replacement when I am older. Pissed off does not even cover it

I will see what the MRI reveals and also do some research myself. The research I have done so far corroborates what he says about being older and operating also the damage that deformed hips do re arthritis. He said he may refer me to someone who specialises in hip arthroscopies once we have the results but he did say that it is a risk.

            Hi Starty,
There is a new treatment where they inject stem cells into the joint repairing cartilage. If I knew I had to get a replacement in a couple of years, I would be following that

                    Morning..
That's worrying starty, but like Neo and Kuya say, great advances in the area, you are young too so a good candidate IF it comes to that. When is the MRI?
Hip replacements are common (mandatory) in my family, so I'll be following your progress!!

I watch the Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick over here and he does wonders for the bones and skeletons of animals. I reckon they get a better deal that people get and I am going private rather than NHS!

They said that I am likely too old to recommend the hip surgery although he will refer me if the MRI shows a possibility of help but with the 2 problems it is unlikely. If I just had the deformed hips and no arth then that would be more likely. MRI is when they call me to make appt.

Mario I have seen you posting elsewhere. Are you sure you didnt forget

Mebbees he's forgotten to put his specs on.
Wish we could have a Mario tracker like the Santa tracker............we could find out where he is on his journey.

Starty, darling, try not to overthink it. Harder to do than say, I know...... Once Mr JC admitted that he had a problem with his hip ( bleeding obvious to every one else) and went to the doctors, got the x-rays it was a relief. He'll need his other one doing in a few years but it holds no fear as he's been through it once. Very inconvenient for about 4 weeks but he now walks without pain.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

On yesterday's bus my driver was dressed as Tigger and the on the one back a punk. They're collecting for a charity called Tommy's..........Tommy’s - Funding research, saving babies' lives

                                Morning Army.
Was out to lunch with extended family yesterday.
I couldn't help but notice the dynamics of those drinking and those not drinking.
My BIL had one drink - selfishly couldn't be bothered to hang around & took off home to 'go out' (and drink properly) . An insult to be honest.
My 2 sisters and Mr Satz were guzzling and forever looking at the glass wondering if they should chance another.
Their faces when I said I was going - I had to drive them all home.
Trying to make me feel the party pooper .....

The total selfishness of the drinkers - brought it home that I would have been exactly the same in the day. Always trying to manoeuvre things to get the next drink. Be nice to the driver etc etc.... jesus....
How fecking exhausting is all that......

Thank the Universe for soberdom & MWO
