Evening. Not long off the settee. The lurgy I had on Saturday has turned into a stinking cold.
The cheese cake from yesterday hasn't set so I've ended up making an upside down pineapple pudding with a difference. Its with peaches.

Been there with cheese cake more than once, bloody gelatin. Peach cake, you may be onto something Nigella!

In the bed - funny thing happened this evening still having a right good laugh - nothing like it - off to sleep now - love not having to make conversations just knowing you are all here and we are all here for each other - tis good -- ye know??!! Night lovely friends xxxx

Tooth infection (as predicted by the dentist, waiting to get an implant in the new year ) - on the upside, I am really on antibiotics, so have my little bottle of pills to shake at anyone who might insist on that glass of sherry with my mince pie. Probably nobody will ask now that Im armed. Think theyve all given up!

Has everyone finished their shopping and is anyone completely ready to relax and enjoy the break? I am Just 4 more days of stressful work and then chill and I cannot wait!!

Mers time to say feck off - I'm am now a happy non-drinker - and leave them to mull over that. Leaving it open that you may drink again - they will drive you nuts.
I was asked again over the weekend by my nephew - I just looked all zen-like, smiled and said I LOVE not drinking. He was in awe. His mother is the infamous SIL I go on hols with and he gives her a hard time about drinking. He remembers what we were like when we drank together.

Glad to see you arrived, Marioooooo.
Left the house when it was dark this morning as had to be in early to woman the phones while their was a staff meeting. Then the office brunch, had a few nibbles and got to go home sharp. Got into town to get the bus home and it was really quiet.

Didn't say last week but one of the key workers was in a really bad car smash and not likely to survive her injuries...........found out today she's sitting up and talking and will probably be home for the New Year. A long way to go with but it was a very happy office today.

Evening all. Tabbs so sorry about your dogger. It is the most painful thing to say goodbye. Take comfort in the fact you have given him a wonderful safe and happy life and now you have done the most noble and unselfish act by calling it a day when you both knew that was needed :hug:

JC that is the 2nd person in as many weeks I have heard of having a horrific car crash. Another has had a brain heamorrhage. 2016 has been a tough year for many with so many tragedies and awful situations. I for one won't be sorry to see the back of it.
