My lurgy has turned into a chest infection. Managed to get an appointment today. Weird thing is I feel grand for a while like this morning we went shopping for all the Chrimbo nibbles/cakes/eclairs/cheese/biscuits for cheese/more cheese/large gateaux/ pate/ nibbles /cream/custard/ more cheese and the more sensible stuff like vegetables.............and then feel dog tired.

Satz I think you are doing the right think, not being an expert, but I remember you talking about the support classes you went to, sounds like the right approach. Sigh.. As Molls said, maybe it hasn't escalated too far yet..

Ice-cream is excellent for Chest infections and for eating in a sisters house and particularly excellent on Wednesdays.

Truly horrible week being had here. Issues with one of the people that work for me. I think I am going to have to put him on a disciplinary. Christmas feeling has departed at the moment and as usual I feel stressed out and worried with work matters.

Starts - go to HR that's what they are there for. If disciplinary action is required they will coach you on how to proceed. Good Luck :hug:

Couldn't get onto MWO this morning. Anyway got to watch one of the a films on my top ten corny or what chart.............Flash Gordon...........I'm supposed to be resting so I wrote lists of things still to do.

My moan is one of exhaustion, couldnt sleep at all last night from a racket in the attic - Mr M got up there this eve and thinks a RAT is getting in, been up a ladder for the past hour checking the pipes, cant figure it out. I probably wont sleep tonight for fear he'll land on me. They can move through walls and ceilings. :eyes:

Morning guys
HR are involved but they are pretty useless as far as proper support. They just tell me my options but do not give me any advice as to what is the best way to deal with this, person in question breached data protection and because of his history and other bits and bobs that he has done over the past I have to take it further.

So glad for a few days off. Hopefully the atmosphere in the office will not be so caustic next week

Mary we had mice up in the loft once. Came home one day and found one on the rug in my bedroom. Another popped out the toaster when I turned it on. Never screamed so loud in my life. Put the toaster straight in bin !!
