Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Morning all and a very merry Christmas to all of you! (yes I have excelled even myself on the early starts)
Sorry I am crap with the multi quoting thing but Satzy, Tabbers, extra big hugs for you guys.
Satzy, I really would be royally pissed off with that situation and kudos to you for not allowing others behaviour to make you drink.
Tabbers, that is what the army and MWO in general is for, to be a beacon for those struggling, or to help find their way when things go wrong. This was where I came back to when I was taking a wrong direction as I knew the steady non judgemental support would always be here for me and it never fails.
Pauly, you are another who never gives up. I am sure 2017 is going to be your year!
Sorry I missed you Mickaloo, but I hope you and Julie have a peaceful holiday and you can both heal a bit from your traumas.
Had a lovely day yesterday, really busy getting bits done but felt good and positive through it all. The evening was spent watching telly snuggled on sofa with Mr Starts and doggers. Truly lovely. Mr starts had a couple of glasses of wine but he has REALLY changed his habits over the last few months. It is lovely. I bought him some wine to have over the holidays and felt totally OK doing it. Also looking forward to going to my bros later and then coming home for more chill out with my little family. Thank you all for bearing with me and offering unconditional support and wisdom xxx

Merry Christmas.
It does sound bliss, Starts.
Lovely card AB.
Now I know you're all dying to get stuck into your selection boxes but you've got to have something proper to eat first so have a mini pizza.
There's some onion bhajis in the oven as well.
Believe it or not that was Jenny and the son & heir's breakfast when they were little or they'd have got hyper with all the chocolate. It could be worse, I could be filing.
