Ha ha it be a different Christmas for me this year, I probably drive back to Ireland & take my time going. If I haven't got children,mother there I probably not bother, would wait till January .

No .. I going back to Ireland for Christmas season but not in any rush to get there, I shall drop into a few places on the way,Usually I was with my ex but as she now an x I not with her, this be the first time in eight years this has happened, if it wasent for my mother or children/gran children I probably just fly back in January and stay in Portugal for Christmas .phew ... :-)

Ah I bet you will have a fab time. I love it when Christmas is different from the norm. I thought this year we would have christmas just on our own for the day but that is not now happening unfortunately. Never mind it will still be OKComment

Yes I looking forward to the drive, my plan is to go from Portugal to Madrid then on up to channel tunnel crossing in France , go into folkstone , then onto holly head then to Dublin .
Be about 24 hrs driving . Which I enjoy.
