                  Same happens here - when my mother comes for dinner he either pisses off out or sits in another room watching sport.
                  HIS nephew & GF are staying over night here next week and I'm supposed to jump through hoops - full Irish next morning - the works.. FFS !!!!

                  He can entertain them ....... I'm going to be VERY busy.
