:hug:Nora, how very sad! I'm glad they have you.
I was so nauseous last night after dinner and dessert. Go figure, I got the worst stomach virus I have had in a long time. I was up most of the night throwing up. Yep all that holiday weight came right off! Had a cup of soup today and that's it so far. Feeling better, but exhausted and no appetite. I am off to bed early. Hope you're all doing ok!

            Liz - feel better

Nursie - thanks. I'm ok Byrdie & NS have been my constant support and now we've moved on. And I am so happy for you and Day 60. Look at you!!! I haven't had a chance to sit and really post but I wanted to tell you how sorry I am about what is going on. Very hard for your family.

Pauly - board games sound like fun. I have yahtzee that Mom can play because I tell her what to do. As long as it's something that I can tell her what to do. I think I've got Trouble. That's a fun game. I'll have to go thru my toy cabinet.

Rusty - how's the visit going? I hope you got the game in time.

My car is on the blink. My DIL's dad and brother looked at it and thought it was just the bearings by the alternator. But, it quit on me again tonight. It's the alternator. They said they would do it but I hate to put them out. They wouldn't take money except parts. But, this is going to be a lot more work. Oh well - how lucky I am to have such a small problem to worry about, right?!

              Happy New Year's Eve, Friends!!!

Wow, yesterday I was a slug! I was tired all day and I was unproductive...I think it was all the projected anxiety about my nephew's visit. I did not get the game, though, because they have been out in the snow the whole time. They are very sweet boys...very quiet and polite and they play well together. I am still getting the game, though, because I have lots of little great-nieces and nephews. Thanks again, Pauly. :-)

              Nursie-HUGE congrats on your 60 + AF Days!:yay:

Nora-so sorry to hear about your car...but how sweet of your DIL's family to offer to fix it only for the price of the parts. They must love you, and why wouldn't they? You are a delightful person! I have been reading your posts about the Meds Thread and I posted it on the Army Thread today. Here's my two cents, my dear: IGNORE them! Pauly was right...the people in your life that matter are you, your family, friends, and your boss (because you have to). You cannot fix or change sociopaths who have more serious problems than just their addictions. They CRAVE drama because they are so incredibly needy. Don't give them another thought, please! :-)

Liz-ugh, stomach flu! Hope you are feeling better! How fun to be shopping for maternity clothes!

Red-thanks for asking about the plan for tomorrow. Yes, I will be able to get back in time for the Packer game. YIPPEE!! The visit with my nephew and kids is going very well. My mom is loving it, too!

              Pauly-are you working today?

Big hellos to everyone else. I have some work to do before I get on with my day.

              Happy AF NYE!!!

Nurse, 60 days is amazing! I'm sure you're feeling great!

Nora, did I miss something? I guess maybe everyone is talking about something going on on another thread here? Blissfully ignorant. Sorry about the car situation, but lucky you've got reliable people to fix it for you. Maybe you could give them a gift card to a resturant for their labor costs? Just a thought.

Rusty, loved your pictures! Yes, I am sure the snow was way more fun than an indoor game!

My stomach is feeling heaps better, but I am so dizzy! I have only eaten a little bit and maybe that's why. We have an engagement party this afternoon. I am planning on going. Hubby's cousin has invited us to her house after and I so want to go and meet up with all the family. Hope this dizzy goes away. I plan on being home for the ball drop though, I hope anyway!

What is everyone else up to? Happy New Year!!!
