I just kept munching away at them once they were in front of me Starts, Always having more than one desert when I out, also buying snickers bars for energy ??
Black forest cake I would eat a whole one.
It was/is getting ridiculous with me, and I cant do moderation so its the alcohol rules now for me and that's it.

Bakers' confectionery, also called flour confections, includes principally sweet pastries, cakes, and similar baked goods. In the Middle East and Asia, flour-based confections are more dominant.
Sugar confectionery includes sweets, candied nuts, chocolates, chewing gum, sweetmeats, pastillage, and other confections that are made primarily of sugar. In some cases, chocolate confections (confections made of chocolate) are treated as a separate category, as are sugar-free versions of sugar confections.[7] The words candy (US and Canada), sweets (UK and Ireland), and lollies (Australia and New Zealand) are common words for the most common varieties of sugar confectionery.

I've resorted to 1 protein bar a day - Fulfil - Irish made and full array of vitamins. Very tasty & filling in the evening with a cuppa.

Hello Troopers!!
Wishing a Happy, Healthy and sober New Year to everyone.
Hope all are well - will read back when I get a chance.
As for the sweets, our store is next to a pastry shop. I have recently discovered their "healthy" snacks and can't stop eating them. Cookies that are like small bread rings, rolled in sesame and sunflower seeds, then baked and then half the ring dipped in dark chocolate. Oh my. So lovely with a cup of tea or hot chocolate. For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

I wonder was Mario the same ?
Even today out at lunch I had to have dessert - the rest were drinking wine and no movement away from the table - so I amused myself with a huge cheesecake ...........
