How many sweets etc would you eat a day?

        Comment

I just kept munching away at them once they were in front of me Starts, Always having more than one desert when I out, also buying snickers bars for energy ??

Black forest cake I would eat a whole one.

It was/is getting ridiculous with me, and I cant do moderation so its the alcohol rules now for me and that's it.

I'm the same Mario - cannot moderate sweet foods.
I've resorted to 1 protein bar a day - Fulfil - Irish made and full array of vitamins. Very tasty & filling in the evening with a cuppa.

Sorry I know this is serious but I couldn't help chuckle at the image of this.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

                  Hello Troopers!!

Wishing a Happy, Healthy and sober New Year to everyone.

Hope all are well - will read back when I get a chance.

As for the sweets, our store is next to a pastry shop. I have recently discovered their "healthy" snacks and can't stop eating them. Cookies that are like small bread rings, rolled in sesame and sunflower seeds, then baked and then half the ring dipped in dark chocolate. Oh my. So lovely with a cup of tea or hot chocolate.

Hello Stirly, thankfully I don't have a sweet tooth, except when I get a booze craving, but I can certainly pig out on the savoury stuff, crisps, nuts etc...

Hey Tabbs - just edited my post on our thread.
I sounded SOOOOOO bossy when I read it back.

                      Forgive me

Tabbs I never had a sweet tooth till I quit the grog. Came out of no-where.
I wonder was Mario the same ?
Even today out at lunch I had to have dessert - the rest were drinking wine and no movement away from the table - so I amused myself with a huge cheesecake ...........

Well sugar and alcohol both release dopamine into the brain which I reckon probably explains that. We still crave that rewards and sugar gives it to us.

I saw it was 1 degree in Athens on the tv yesterday while we had a lovely balmy sunny 12 degrees this far north, lets have a big round of applause for the gulf stream.
