Algarve I based, But I am all over when working. Yes it is lovely here & I sometimes forget how lucky I am to live in a place where I always wanted to live. I have been very fortunate in my life even though I have had my ups 7 downs , just like us all.
How doing you & where is starts these mornings ?

Good morning,
Have I told you I've taken a cheeky 2 weeks off work........or as I only do one day a week that's really only 2 days. Although I love the place my enthusiasm was starting to wane and also they're fully staffed in the office so decided to take a step back for a couple of weeks and have a think.Last edited by JackieClaire; January 10, 2017, 03:52 AM.It could be worse, I could be filing.

Hi all,
Noticed your post in the feeds, Starty, sorry you are feeling crap now x You very kindly replied to my thread & I really appreciated & found I could relate to your experience with 'coming back' from relapse well found it very helpful :happy2: Thankyou
I know I'm not long AF, but think being a survivor of alcohol abuse at any length of time is no easy feat & we should all remember how much strength it takes to achieve. Chances are, using AL has negatively impacted us all in different ways so I think it's ok to feel some sadness/loss at times because of this which is normal. I try to forgive myself & allow myself to & move on (Easier said than done!). Don't feel bad for feeling whatever it is you are x
Hope your all keeping well - LSTo see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wildflower.
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

There is some brilliant information on there .............. for hidden sugars which can keep the sweet tooth going without us noticing and make it almost impossible to stay off sugary foods.

Evening,
Oh good we didn't frighten you off,Lossy.
Never thought of myself as a survivor of alcohol abuse..........I like it.
Taken advice from two beauts on here (Molls & Satz) and started writing a list and going to make an appointment with my boss. Thinking of doing more hours and asking that when I do turn up one of the admin staff can give me 5 minutes to give me a catch up on who's left, who's sick, who's on courses......for a start. I actually wouldn't mind shadowing one of the workers for a few hours.
I'm a volunteer with an alcohol/drug place over here, Lossy. It could be worse, I could be filing.

Evening all.
JC I brought all the sweetie stuff left over from Chrimbo and left them in the kitchen in work, mostly scoffed by the gannets I work with by now haha.
Just back from a 1 1/2 hour Thai deep tissue massage I treated myself to, paid with by the money I would have poured down my throat the past week or so. Gonna eat some food now and I think a long soak in the bath is on the cards.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?
