Top end of England.........just off the North East Coast. Its only about 40/50miles up the road from me and can't remember the last time I was there.

Morning JC. I was thinking of Holy Island in Wales, the last stop for the ferry to Ireland. We have a tiny Holy island here too actually, its in the shannon and used to be a monastic settlement.

Yep it was full of monks back in the day and a couple of saints (but they weren't aware of that 'til after they died) and they wrote the Lindisfarne Gospels..

Tbh I thought it was the only one in the world.
