What kind of books do you like to read, Liz? I read a variety but mainly fiction.

Nora it's sad your Mom doesn't remember Oregon. Alzheimers is so cruel.

In regard to blogs etc - the best book and website I've ever found is Annie Grace's The Naked Mind. The book is in a similar vein to Allen Carr and Jason Vale, but I found it a bit more appropriate for people who like to question things a bit more intellectually. It talks a lot about liminal thinking.

In cheerier news, the grandbaby is well and delighting us all with her antics. She is SUCH a chatterbox already and is trying to crawl! Liz - I hope yours is also growing steadily and strongly.

I don't know if I told you I have to go interstate in a few weeks for my other son's officer graduation ceremony which includes a parade and a black tie dinner. I'm stressing already because I have no idea what to wear but I really want him to be proud of me! Plus I have meetings with some bigwigs at the national institute of sport. I think I need a stylist. And a million dollars. LOL

Hey Nursie! Great to see you!!

Nora-I'm sorry your Mom doesn't remember Oregon. I totally know where you are coming from and I am here for you. My Mom's short-term memory was dealt a fatal blow after her last surgery. She forgets she told me something just two hours ago!!

Glassie!!! Congratulations on your son's graduation!!! You must be so proud! Lovely to hear about your granddaughter. Oohh....babies are so much fun!

Liz-cake-yum! My sweet tooth is going nuts. Hahah!

Pauly-I don't think I could cut someone's hair...they would end up bald in the back and I would be saying, "Hey, there's this great black paint I can spray on and no one will notice that you don't have any hair back there!!!!!" haha. I admire you so much, Pauly!

Ahhh....the gift of being able to IGNORE unwelcome posters. Love it!

Off to take care of my Mom. Happy Sunday, everyone!

Good morning! Nora I am currently reading Mary Higgins Clark's latest "as time goes by". I love fiction/mysteries. I don't really like anything to deep. My daughter gave me "girl on the train", which is next to be read. Hope you're feeling better.

Rusty, I'm with you on the ignore. Not adding any fuel to that fire. Not worth my time. Have fun with mom today!

Nursie, hello. Always love hearing from you!

Pauly, how's it going on your side of the country? I guess you're working today.

Still waiting to hear where Erin wants to go to lunch today. Her and hubby went to a hockey game last night and I guess they were out late, Anyway looking forward to the festivities today. Wishing you all a great day!

Have fun with that. Hug that little grandbaby for me! Erin is finally starting to show a tiny bit! It's starting to feel real!

Good morning everyone! I can't believe the holidays are over, makes me sad a little. Iove spending time with my family and it takes me a bit to get back to reality.

Nora, you are a truly compassionate amazing woman. My mom is 75 and hard of hearing. Sometimes I get upset when I have to keep repeating myself. I just read your posts about you and your mom and I am in amazement of how patient and caring you are.

Liz, this is your first grandchild right? I would be so excited! When will they find out the sex of the baby?

Pauly, how are your kids doing? Did they all come for Christmas? I love seeing the pics of you and Louie on FB. He is getting so big. How is the puppy doing?

Hi to everyone, I am playing bingo and it's about to start.

Rusty, you watching the Packer game today? I am making butterfly pork chops and hash browns for the game and hope the win. It makes the winter more tolerable watching the Packers in the playoffs.
AL free since March 17th 2011...loving this life. No drinking no matter what.

Hi my name is Lori and i am so happy to be here.

Haha, isn't that always the way Nora? I hope you feel better. I somehow missed some of your posts last night. CJ and joe are having 2 ceremonies. He has not yet contacted anyone from his church and CJ is hoping if he takes long enough, the date will no longer be available. Because that's how they do things. Joe is going to st Croix on Tuesday for about. 6 weeks to work on their house. Erin is feeling better, but definitely different. She doesn't want vegetables so much anymore and craves bread, which she never really loved. Everything she eats seems to "bother" her. Poor thing. She is starting to show just a tiny bit!
Red, they do not want to know the sex of the baby. They have some boy names picked out, but no girl names.
Pauly is your daughter still in Florida? I hope that all worked out with her.

Pauly, I didn't walk today either. It's Erin's birthday Tuesday so that's my excuse!

I'm watching the giants packers game too. Nothing like a little Sunday night football.

Wishing you all a quiet AF night!
