satz123 that is a very nice thought, indeed! Now that you mention it, it did have that feel to it. That little bird sitting just outside my window, not 5 feet away did feel like a personal messenger! :happy2: It lifted my spirits, which I must say were a bit low at the time.

Grateful for my Irish heritage and the celebration of St. Patrick's Day, which seem to have started a wee bit early! :congratulatory:

I’m grateful to be sitting inside watching the World Women’s Curling Championship while watching the heavy snow falling outside...

I was walking around our pond this afternoon when I realized I was hearing the trills of the red winged black birds, newly returned today! I am grateful for the returning birds. I'm grateful to be af as I walk around the pond during my former witching hour. It doesn't get much better than that!

I’ll gratefull for the receding snow pack, with more grass appearing in my yard each day.

Even though I complain about the snow, I'm grateful that there will be lots of ground moisture for good germination...

I'm grateful that we missed the latest Nor'easter. It's supposed to warm up into the 40's next week. Yay!

I am grateful that I no longer have to smuggle empty bottles out of the house and into the trash when nobody is watching.

Good grief yes. I think that was one of the worst things about drinking.
Filling up a bag with empties , putting them in the car boot and heading to the recycle bin has to be one of the most degrading trips we'll ever make.
Knowing that they are not the result of a party but me drinking secretly alone in the house

I’m grateful for a gorgeous afternoon once the blizzard blew through. I didn’t even mind shovelling all the snow! I got to do in just my hoodie and Hank loved playing in the banks!

Oh my goodness. The vivid memories I have of smuggling the bottles out of the house and then stopping by a trash can.

I am very grateful that I don't need to worry about that ever again. :yay:
