I am grateful for the uplifting spirit around the world from the Women's Marches. Down with hate and oppression, up with love and respect!

Tonight I'm grateful that I can appreciate the cultural and language differences between my in-laws and me, and just enjoy what time we spend together..
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Grateful for a peaceful morning, calm before the snowstorm. I will be able to get outside for awhile before it starts.

I'm grateful that although I'm feeling very sad, fearful, and depressed about the state of the world, I know the feelings will pass when I'm not tired and overwhelmed and that under no circumstances will I try to escape the pain by drinking. I know now that it only makes the situation worse.

I am grateful for the no-charge-or-strings-attached, kindness of what was a stranger, and is now a friend. It warms my heart and lifts me up see intrinsic goodness in mankind.

Tonight I'm grateful that the Serenity Prayer is still a valuable tool for me to help get through problems that pop up during my day..

I'm grateful for a beautiful blanket of snow. It is already melting so there won't be too much to shovel.
