    Re: Express your Gratitude

    I am grateful for today.
Birds are singing outside and the world is my oyster.

Yes our weather is bad but I refuse to allow my mother or MrS to say "horrible day" any more.

I now realise I was using Lent for selfish reasons. So monies saved from not buying 'pretend' food are in a jar to give back - to Troicare ( Irish charity)

Don't even know why I would have taken offence to that satz, Lent is just like getting sober, it means something different to everyone, and everyone has their own way of doing it, and for that I am grateful!

No offense taken, Satz! And ditto to what ABC said.

I'm grateful for people with good senses of humor!

A bit of the chicken and egg, isn't it? Did your sobriety give you the ability to just let it go, or did the ability to just let it go give you your sobriety?

I'm grateful for all the inspirational thoughts on this website that have helped me refocus when needed. Which is about every day!!!
