abcowboy-I am grateful that I got into Ottawa on Thursday after being raked over the coals by Immigration Services!:cuss: So glad you, Bubba and Hank had some Hanky-Panky in the camper. LOL.

Today I’m grateful for the farm fresh eggs I purchased right from the farm! Also grateful I found an actual quiche baking dish in the garage I don’t even remember buying. Little reminders only make me stronger. :happy2:

I am grateful to still be sober after 6 years. Here to more years of being sober.
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

As I get older and have left my drinking days behind, I have come to cherish my quiet and peaceful mornings and evenings at home. My morning coffee along with my daily readings and posts, my evenings in my favourite chair with a good book in my hands has become my way of life. Even though I enjoy going to visit my in-laws, the noise level in their house because of their hearing problems is almost more than I can take.

So tonight, sitting in my chair after getting home from the in-laws, I’m grateful for my quiet, peaceful, boring lifestyle...

I am grateful for blue tooth technology. Mr. D was cranking the TV up to uncomfortable levels as his hearing loss was progressing. Thankfully he got hearing aids that enable him to hear the TV directly in his aids so that I can adjust the TV to a comfortable volume. I'm grateful for modern technology that helps people with hearing loss. I'm grateful for my hearing.

I’m grateful for sober motivation. Tonight I attended a fabulous study group that is so uplifting. It is something I would have willing skipped for a drinking opportunity back in my non-thriving, drunk days. I’m grateful those days are gone.
