I am grateful for the coffee house in our little town. Such a great place! It's almost as nice as the Cattleman's Café!

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

I'm grateful that the snow is melting almost as fast as it's falling. Should be a decent night for the youngsters and their trick or treating! But I'm sure we'll wake up to a winter wonderland, one that's here to stay...Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

I'm grateful for my electric blanket on cold nights in this big old drafty farmhouse. I'm grateful to be enjoying the evening sober.Dill

Re: Express your Gratitude
Tonight I am grateful for the things I have learned here on MWO over the years and for all the sharing and support members show each other. One of my favorite thoughts is, "this too shall pass". We can hold on for one more day! (Cue the Wilson Phillips video.....)Dill

Re: Express your Gratitude
I am grateful for 60 + days sober and the strong positive feeling that gives me in my mind and body. I am grateful for a thing called HOPE! I can see it and feel it. It is real to me, and along with some sort of daily action i can handle, it nourishes my soul and being.

I’m grateful for a quiet and sober Friday night, in my favourite chair, Hank curled up at my feet, watching the Oilers take on New Jersey...
And it’s great to see C22 back in the fold after a successful exam! Congrats!Last edited by abcowboy; November 3, 2017, 09:38 PM.Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...

Re: Express your Gratitude
So much family going on that is out of my control.
GRATEFUL today that I pulled myself together this morning & came back here. I was starting to wallow in self pity - but NO.
I WILL NOT WALLOW
I WILL NOT WALLOW
I WILL NOT WALLOW
I WILL NOT WALLOW
I WILL NOT WALLOW
I WILL NOT WALLOW
I WILL NOT WALLOW
