I'm grateful for my InstaPot, electric pressure cooker. We had a great Indian Butter Chicken dish tonight that was delish! If I were still drinking, this pressure cooking adventure would be a road not taken, I can tell you that! LOL!

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Re: Express your Gratitude
I'm grateful for the caring and sharing on this forum. I'm particularly grateful tonight for Cowboy sharing how to post pictures in a message! And while I'm at it, thank you for a great week of quotes in the Café. I love starting my day with good food for thought and you served up some good stuff!:happy2:Last edited by dill; April 14, 2018, 06:13 PM.Dill

I'm grateful for this home we call MWO, all the members, and those working behind the scenes helping us out and keeping the place running smoothly!Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

I'm grateful that I don't drink! This weather would make me crawl into the bottom of a bottle and not even come up for air lolQuitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...

Mr. D grew these in his greenhouse. Maybe they will cheer you up:
It won't be long before I can put them in the ground. And that's a good thing! I had to send them back to the greenhouse bc, I doubt you could see them in the picture, but there were little ants that came in with the petunias! The were crawling al over the kitchen counter! :happy2: LOL! Can't put them in the ground yet because of all the rain, sleet and SNOW!
Patience.Last edited by dill; April 17, 2018, 06:28 AM.Dill

Re: Express your Gratitude
I start some seeds, then buy more plants! I bought some pansies, which will tolerate frost, but I’m keeping them in the garage window until it stops snowing and icing outside. It looks hopeful for warming up this weekend and staying warmer than it has been.Last edited by Sunbeam; April 18, 2018, 06:48 AM.My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. Re: Express your Gratitude
Today I'm grateful for the sun & heat heading our way.
18-20 degrees :yay: expected as a weather front from AFRICA arrives for a few days.
We had the Russian snow in March - now the African heat. multicultural we are here in Ireland :haha:

Re: Express your Gratitude
I’m great full for several things that came together today. I’m working on multiple projects this month, involving groups of people. One event is an Earth Day clean-up at a cemetery. It is all good.My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.
