    Re: Express your Gratitude

I am grateful to have found this site and working on my sobriety in a serious way again. Falling off the wagon does not mean you can’t get back on again..... I am choosing to start again SOBER!

I am grateful for each day sober, for waking up without a hangover and for being able to see and appreciate the full moon this morning and ponder our existence here on this marvelous planet.

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

I’m grateful for everyone who takes the step necessary to make life worth living again...
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Amen sister. I am grateful for another chance to get things right. I do not want to waste another moment drunk/hungover.
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

I'm grateful for good doctors and therapists. They are really a blessing and truly not to be taken for granted.

Struggling at this minute to find something.
Son is a drunk - went for a cycle at 7.30 pm - it's now dark and heading for midnight and he hasn't returned
Mother has maybe 'till Christmas to live.

                            BUT :
I am SO GRATEFUL I do not have to resort to alcohol to see me through this ..... very grateful.
Inner strength will see me right - God : Source : Universe - whatever you choose to call it is in us all and i will survive.
Who said : "this too will pass" ?

I am grateful for you all. If it wasn't for MWO I would have a 12 pack of beer with me and some shots. Lost my 3rd cat in a year tonight. Its hard esp. since he was so young. He was only 1 but he had heart failure due to a heart condition that we did not know about and he threw a clot that left his rear end paralyzed.

I am grateful to have this new kitten. We are going to find a buddy for her when the time is right since she is so needy and lonely. We got her to be a buddy to Pepper but now we are in need of a buddy for her.
