    No sugar has 4 years today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It is hard to believe that one of our foremost guru's on addiction is clocking in with 4 big years today! This is a massive achievement by anyone's standards!
    I remember you when you first flew in, you were an awesome student and absorbed every word! You took this on like an assignment and may I say you soared to the head of the class. A+++

    Congratulations on this monumental day in your life!! It is a shame that AL brought us together, but we are also beating it together! Thank you for all of your contributions on this site and keep up your great work!

      4 years on, what a treat,
      no longer reliant on wine,spirits or ale,
      now set free from alcohol jail

      no longer narrow focused on booze booze booze,
      while the world of your family,joining in you lose,
      but you made that choice kicked al through the door,
      welcome back family..you mean much more
      af since the fourth of July 2012...howzat then America..now proudly marching into year 12

                Congrats NS - like Mr G I've always loved your posts and I too take a lot from them.
                I don't always act on the advice immediately :haha:
                Like the discussion we had on a glucose monitor about 18 months ago ? I am only now beginning to use it properly

                  Good for you, NS! And thanks for all you offer here. We are living our lives, making all the choices, no room or voice for alcohol.
                  My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

                      Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
                      Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
                      Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.
