Indeed we do.

I know an alcohol worker who rather than meet them in his office who takes them out for a tea or coffee...........not all of them. His reasoning is in early recovery that most (not all) spent their life sitting in clinics, their workers office, home alone, the doctors...............he always tells them to look up rather than looking down when they leave him and stop shuffling along the pavement........watch the change in the trees, the architecture , take notice of stuff around you . Bet it wouldn't surprise you to say his clients love him.

Yesterday was shitty but I got through AF .... I can now just hear my Mum saying "be careful what you wish for..." Snow over night and the road is closed South out of the village so if it stays like that Mrs T will have a 2 hour diversion to get home...Uggh! But we need the snow for the Ski resort!

Ideas for no snow in the right place.............skis with wheels. I was going to say snowboards with wheels but aren't they skateboards.

I LOVE snow ............... can't help it : 'what's rare is wonderful.'....
A heavy fall of snow in Ireland is wonderful .
It makes everyone slow down and take stock of what's important.... imvho
They can't leap mindlessly into their cars - they may have to depend on someone helping them and HORRER talking to them....

Yes, Satz. People tend to stay on the slopes as long as possible and when they come down we're one of the 1st restaurants they pass...BRING IT ON!

2010 really tested my love of the white stuff, had teens at the time who wanted chauffeuring and on icy back roads not gritted, not fun!! Thanks for info on app stop, just downloaded it. Signs of spring all around here too, love this time of year. Going to the Gaiety Sat night, my Valentines treat ����

I was trying to remember which year it was, Russy, yep 2010.
I remember getting up on New Years Day 2011 at about 8am..............first time in about a squillion years I wasn't hungover.........I ran into the garden in my nightie and made snow angels. Couldn't have given a flying feck if the neighbours had seen me I was just so happy................freezing cold but very, very happy. :sohappy:

Im all for snow too.. although I shit myself driving. SNOW for TOE-KNEE.

Off to my leaba. Appointment to see a chiropractor tomorrow - Shooting pains up and down my leg (driving my mothers car not helping), a physio said its prob sciatica, but its getting worse this week.
