Pauly-thanks for "getting it." :-) Big hug, too! Sorry to hear about Lou's dad...does he suffer from dehydration often? Is he a drinker? Is your boss an "absentee" boss so he doesn't see your lazy co-workers slacking off???

Dehydration, Pauly, wow...I guess that is one of the drawbacks of living in the desert....I love the desert but being from Wisconsin, when I am there visiting, I always feel like I need a ton of water to keep properly hydrated. I just can't get enough. I'm a lightweight, too. When I go to Colorado, I get altitude sickness. Sigh.

Nora-were you were able to accomplish everything you wanted to in Oregon? How is your mom doing?

I am being a slouch tonight. I simply do not want to do my required paperwork. So I just finished watching a documentary on the actor,
Chris Farley… Who died of a cocaine overdose in the late 90s. So sad! I am hoping that Chicago Fire
comes on soon. Give me some Taylor Kinney and I'll be a happy girl. LOL

Yes, Kona was fun. It was pleasure and business. We are going to Copenhagen and will travel to St. Petersburg toward the end of May. Two other couples are joining us on this upcoming adventure!

Hello everyone. Going to try to post but I keep getting interrupted.

Techie - I never heard of paraliminals. Very interesting. Enjoy your trips - sounds like fun.

Pauly - Glad that Lou's dad is ok. Scary stuff there.

Rusty - you never are a slouch. I hope you enjoy it. I always feel so lazy when I hear what everyone else accomplishes!

Sure was great to have so many people posting. Always happy to see that.

Evening! Another sober day in the books. I don't know how I worked this hard when drinking. Oh wait, I didn't, I was starting to cancel things, call in sick and move appointments around. This is so much better.

Funny, I never think twice about my posts or likes! :witless:

Techie, I've never tried any meditation or self-help CDs. Seems like they have helped a lot of folks though so I'll keep them in the back of my mind if I need to layer on more things.

SoCali, its so good to see you here. Please stay with us if you like!

                    Onward!

                          AG-I am
Listening to the news here in Detroit...due to the high winds, over 800,000 people will be without power. Are the high winds affecting you, too? I love Benton Harbor and Grand Haven! :-)

Liz- so excited for you that Erin's shower is coming up soon. Does she have a theme for the shower?

I have to get to work now...Happy AF Thursday, everyone!

SoCali, please feel free to join us here. The more the merrier and we've got a good thing going here!

TT hello, nice to see yo here!

I kind of like the "like". I never thought of it as a popularity thing. It ever occurred to me to be offended if someone doesn't like my post.

Ne, that's for sharing a bit about your rehab experience. I'm not sure what you meant about the relapse comment? I guess there is a high relapse after rehab? Al is a tough thing to quit and don't we all know it.

Techie, I love when you post here! Your upcoming trips sounds wonderful! Hubby, Mark and I are going to Texas next month, just because we've never been. My daughter CJ works for hilton hotels and we got a discount on a hotel in southPadre island. Looking forward to exploring Texas.

AG, you are sounding great! Glad you are keeping busy. Life takes on a new routine, but that little nagging is still there for me sometimes. I hope you aren't finding it too difficult to fight off the al.

Rusty, how is Detroit? I heard it was very windy there yesterday. A friend of mine lives in that area and was without power. Not sure it came back on yet. We are dealing with the wind today:-(

Pauly, that job situation does sound frustrating! Don't you get paid by the haircut? I know I'd be upset if I was a client waiting and saw people sitting around doing nothing. I'd probably leave! Glad Louie's dad is ok. Dehydration can be a very dangerous thing.

Nora, you've been a little quiet. You doing ok? Has it been hard coming back home after your trip. Are you sad? I wonder if your mom missed you?

Wildflower, Skendall, glassie how are you guys doing? Sk how is the swelling and bruising!

Hubby wants breakfast, so I better get going. Apparently the eggs taste better when I make them . Have a good AF Thursday!
