        Thankful for blankie fort!...

Understand meh days all too well.. Guess better than bad days.

Nora, giggles at ps, pps, ppps. Last yr someone told me I was old, cause knew what ps meant. lol... Fantastic news on son's official reinstated license! Think Liz posted yest that Erin went with her & CJ (hope I got names right), wasn't herself but was present at fitting. Hope she's okay. Kept them in my morning prayers.

Techie, glad you have the stamina to enjoy skiing. Get out when you can before it melts. Mountains here have more then enough snow. Beautiful like a post card..

Have several trips out to day. Better get moving.. Was dizzy this am and almost fell twice. Imagine what I was like when not sober. Coffee, oatmeal and shower helped.

Oh and forgot to tell all you lovely people. One tues a month it's disco~taco night. First one was this wk. Gave a list and asked Mr. WF which disco song he wanted to hear. Maco Man: by Village People, then I chose a Donna Summers song, followed by YMCA and Earth Wind and Fire (love them).. He thought it was my random crazy mind. It was fun!.. Started a mini history lesson. Yes, he and girls have nicknamed me randomness. Texted girls and their response was LMAO... Thanks so much for the idea. Yes, you can laugh at me and my dizzy~randomness. :spin: I'll be laughing with you at myself. Oh and if you like muscles and bare chests I recommend Macho Man..

Back from surgery. Other than a nurse blowing a vein, it all went well. Not having much pain at all even after morphine has worn off.

Daughter has been very helpful and brought me Whole Food's chicken soup and muffins for lunch. Dinner will be Shepherd's Pie and magna bar (maybe 2).

Hey guys! I think I forgot to post yesterday and I'm sorry. Got caught up talking to CJ and joe last night and literally fell into bed!

Wildflower you did get the names right! Erin is doing ok. She's pretty mellow these days which is totally not her. She has really popped now and is just careful about what she does. Erin was always on the go doing it all, like the energizer bunny.

Pauly, I could wear the shoes again, but they are kinda high and dressy. Couldn't wear them to work.
I hate to even tell you about the inservice I attended today with a pulomanologist . We will start doing new procedures to diagnose and stage lung cancer. Please stop if you can:heartbeat:

Skendall. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Nora so glad son got his license re instated. How's the apartment hunting going?

Hello to everyone. Off to get everyone some dinner!

Re: One Step at a Time - March 2017

Well after the nurse blew the vein (I knew that needle was too wide), she told me I was a bleeder. I have always clotted well, so this aft I thought I would peek at the surgery site. I removed 10 acres of dressing and the gauze pad was almost clean! I was okay with her making an error, but to lie and say it was my fault is what upset me.

I think nurses do a fantastic job and I am grateful to them and their profession. She was a tad young and is probably still on a learning curve.

Liz, are you worried about Erin? Have they found a diagnosis for the dizziness. If you posted it I'm sorry if I missed it. if the heels are a tad high, I will send my spine dr. after you, lol. I've been wearing crocs whenever I can get away with it. After my ankle replacement in 2012 it left my feet a different size, i.e. left foot 7-1/2C (surgical foot) and my other a 9B.

Holy cow, I sound like an expert on pain, nurses and injuries, not what I wanted to be.

WF, always great posts. I love disco too. Remember the Bee Gees?

Nora, as always thank you for your kindness.

Pauly, thank you for your good wishes. If I haven't told you, you make me laugh with your stories of Louie.

AG, the electronic gizmo sounds great for you. I haven't read all the way back.

Techie, thank you. You are a star, a gentleman and a scholar. fun and considerate. You are a darned good catch for the lovely Viola. With your entrepreneurial spirit I can't wait to read about the success of your new business. We all love you here and I/we all pray for your recovery/remission.

Skendall, such great news!... So happy to hear your out of surgery and not in too much pain. It will be a success! Sorry about the inexperienced nurse. Sounds like the gauge of the needle was to big. You peeked under gauze to ck out incision. What a wonderful daughter you have bringing you healthy food and a treat too. You deserve it for sure. You sound like your having a bit of fun. Mr WF and one daughter are effected in a positive way with narcotics. Not me. When your up to it and if your willing, like to hear more about your ankle replacement. Have been on mine for five hours and in pain. Have ice pk on, took two Aleve. See podiatrist next wk. In his bio, he likes to make people laugh. Good. I too have had to wear nothing but crocs, but not cause of size issues. I actually like crocs a lot. Okay you get some good rest!.. Healing has begun. Don't have to much fun with the young male nurses. No wait, please do... report back... lol

Right on Pauly. No way to be in bad mood with Disco music. When it was more popular back in the day, used to dance my ass off. Asked a teen today if disco was in and he said no. Maybe one day it will be popular again. Had forgotten how happy it makes me. Thanks ladies. Macho Man is superb. Wondering if Rusty likes disco? Yes, Skendall I do remember Bee Gees. Were going to need a playlist.
Still smoke too. About 1/4-1/2 pk a day. Have been thinking of getting a vape. Tried e-cigs and don't like. Have quit b4, but go back. ugh....

Liz, hopefully Erin will be back to herself soon. Maybe not till baby is born. Pregnancy in its self can zap energy. How far along is Erin? Trying to get more familiar with everyone. Glad I was able to get names right. Seem to be forgetting more things.

Off to eat and maybe watch a movie. Hope everyone has a good AF night. :heartbeat:

Hey all,Techie I second everything Skendall told you,we love the person you are SK and WF,Kells doc actually told her to get crocs cuz of her degenerative disc disease in her back but you know no 25 year-old is gonna rock crocs! I guess they're good for health issues so you guys are onto something Nora, are you feeling less unsettled? Hope so,don't feel like working today waves to all and I hope we all have a happy AF Saturday

                                Mornin,

Pauly, didn't know that Cros's had any health benefits. Thanks for sharing. Realized after posting yest, that I also can't get my tennis shoes on my rt ft. Swelling since I fell in ice-snow we had. Not anything likely as painful that Skendall has endured. My girls wouldn't be caught in original ones either. They actually due have a few lines that are cute, but not those original slip on, clonky looking ones. Had to stop wearing cute high heels long time ago due to burstitus and broken fibula where it meets ankle joint. Just grateful I can walk. I have some really good sandals and hiking shoes. Hoping to be able to get out in next few wks. Really hoping to avoid surgery.

Mr WF has one of his bad headaches and stomach aches. He's resting in his lazy boy chair. Wondering if it was last nights take out. MSG may be the problem. Think I may be immune to certain bad chemicals due to a long history of drinking and smoking. May have a protective barrier. Not a good one at that. When I quit smoking for 8 months I would always get colds. Started back and rarely get sick now. Okay I'm rambling. Sorry. Have a few chores to do today. Contractor coming Mon. Better clean bathroom. Tho, Mr WF thinks house is clean all the time. Wonder if I passed b4 him if he'd ever clean anything. We have different ideas about many things. lol
Hope you have nice customers who tip generously. Do your best to let go of any negativity your co-workers may chose to do.

Nora, I think I too understand that unsettling feeling of unfinished business. Kinda like a looming feeling that things aren't in place yet. Hope you have some me time this wknd, or that you and hubby get out for lunch, brunch or sumpin enjoyable. Thank you for always remaining so positive and helpful to everyone.

Skendal, hope your feeling better this am. Is your pain level under control? When are you being released? Not sure if you are doing PT before they release you.

Hello to everyone. Wishing you all a good AF day.. :heartbeat:

PS, Mr WF's turtle was sick this past Weds. We went and saw Logan. Thought it was quite good. Think it's been about two yrs since we went to the the movies.
